The City of Brisbane is currently recruiting for non-sworn Police Officer Trainee candidates. This is for individuals that have no prior law enforcement experience and have not received POST certified police academy training. Trainees are paid while attending a POST-certified Police Academy. Upon successful completion of the police academy and upon availability of a police officer position, trainees are eligible to be sworn in as a Police Officer and become eligible for salary and benefits as outlined in the Brisbane Police Officers Association Memorandum of Understanding.

The Department
The City of Menlo Park's Information Technology team is seeking a temporary IT Specialist who has a broad range of support skills to provide day to day computer/desktop support, end-point configuration and management, helpdesk support and management, and maintain and troubleshoot various systems hardware, software, peripherals, A/V, telephones and mobile devices. Support to be provided onsite throughout the City at physical workstations, as well as via phone, video, email and internet.
The Position
The Community Relations Manager/Public Information Officer is a full-time management position that reports directly to the City Manager and is part of the City Manager’s Office. The Public Information and Community Relations Division is responsible for providing information to the general public about the programs, projects, and policies of the City Council and City government.
This position is a key member of the City’s Executive Team given the unique position of being a liaison to citizens, businesses, schools, and non-profits in the City.
