$16.95/hour with Lifesaving and WSI Certifications

Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Recreation Coordinator – Aquatics manages the City’s aquatics programming which includes swim lessons, lap swim, water-walking, fitness classes, etc. This position also supervises all lifeguards, teachers, aides, and instructors and provides key assistance to the Recreation Supervisor on all related matters.
The City of Brisbane is currently recruiting certified Head Lifeguards for our beautiful year-round outdoor aquatic facility. The Head Lifeguard oversees the daily operations of the swim center by assisting in the planning, direction, leadership and staffing of swim center programs, performing a variety of lifeguard tasks, clerical duties, and assisting with aquatic and recreational citywide special events.
