DEFINITION: Under general supervision the aide assists in planning, organizing, and implementing preschool programming for children ages 3-5 years old. Program hours are M-F PM 8:30am – 1:00pm and/or MWF 8:30am - 1:00pm. Approximately 15 – 30 hours a week. Substitute and floating positions also available 8:30am - 1:00pm. 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Assists in the development, coordination, planning, implementing and supervising the day-to-day activities, themes and special events for an ongoing preschool program.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Under the direction of the Custodial Services Supervisor, the Maintenance Custodian serves as the worker in the duties of care and cleaning of assigned buildings and related facilities.  The incumbent will be required to travel between several City buildings during their scheduled shift. Custodial services are provided seven days a week with shifts starting at 5pm and ending at 1:30am. Please note that schedules for this role could vary Monday-Sunday and will be determined prior to appointment.

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sweep, vacuum, shampoo, and mop

Infrastructure Services Unit (Position Code 27) 

Valley Water Telework Program: Eligibility for telework will depend on the type of work performed, operational needs, and the ability for the employee to perform the essential functions of their job duties while teleworking. Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology Services, the Systems Administrator performs a critical role in the Information Technology Department.
