• Performing a wide variety of office support duties requiring the use of independent judgment.

• Interpreting and implementing policies, procedures, and computer applications related to the department or organizational unit to which assigned.

Education and Experience: Equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of responsible office support, secretarial, or general clerical experience.  Experience in dealing with the public and working in a public agency setting is desirable.

Physical Demands:  Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

SALARY AND HOURS: $29.23 – $30.64 – $32.17 – $33.78 - $35.49 per hour. Paid sick leave benefit available. Appointments are generally made at the first step in this range.
