Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) is a new commuter rail system located in Marin and Sonoma Counties. We are seeking two full-time Code Compliance Officers to perform specialized inspections and enforcement of ordinances, regulations and laws governing the transit system. This position is non-sworn and unarmed.

Under the direction of the Building Official, the Building Technician provides technical, administrative, and clerical support to the Building Division of the Planning and Building Department. This position provides excellent customer service and assistance to the general public, receives and reviews permit applications, and performs other duties as assigned.

Bilingual Pay (2.5% Conversational, 5% Full, 10% Expert)
