THE PROPERTY TAX DIVISION
The Property Tax Division of the County Controller's Office is responsible for computing tax rates based on assessed property values provided by the County Assessor, distributing property taxes to local taxing agencies and processing roll corrections and refunds. The Division also handles accounting for special districts.
