The Menlo Park Fire Protection District is currently seeking a Fire Inspector/Investigator I/ II to join our team. The Fire Prevention Division is regarded as an integral part of the community, providing consultation and delivering comprehensive inspection and investigative services complying with District policies and procedures
About the District
The City’s volunteer Fire Department is older than the City itself, founded as a volunteer corps in 1861 to replace a U.S. Army fire brigade. Today, it is the largest volunteer urban Fire Department in California staffed 24/7 with volunteers. The paid staff are the Fire Chief, 2 Division Chiefs, 3 Fire Captains, 3 Fire Engineers and an Administrative Assistant.
The Menlo Park Fire Protection District seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the training division. The assistant will work with District staff on various projects. The selected candidate must be available to work Monday through Thursday between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
Interviews for this position will be held in the beginning of October.
