Happy Hollow Park & Zoo (HHPZ) is a 16-acre amusement park and Association of Zoo's & Aquariums (AZA) accredited zoo located in San José, California. AC Transit is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Superintendent. This position serves as the primary maintenance manager overseeing one of our divisions. Under general direction, this positions plans, coordinates, and directs the cleaning, service maintenance, repair, and overhaul of District vehicles for an assigned operating division.

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Worker II performs a variety of tasks in maintaining streets; storm drainage and sewer systems; parks, landscaped areas, and grounds; buildings; and vehicles, equipment, and tools. May serve as a team leader when working on a specific project with other Maintenance Workers. May be asked to provide informal guidance and “coaching” to new Maintenance Workers.
