This position located at the Health and Human Services Agency, Social Services Division, performs general clerical duties related to filing, reception, form processing, record maintenance, mail, typing or data entry; obtains and compares information related to department records, programs, and services, and performs related work as required.
About the Position: The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) Seasonal Ranger Aide is an entry-level position, which provides the opportunity to learn and perform some duties of a ranger under the guidance of experienced ranger staff. Ranger Aides perform a variety of customer service duties while travelling by non-emergency Midpen vehicles and on foot throughout an assigned geographical region.

Under general direction of the Community Development Director and City Manager, supervises and reviews the inspections of residential, commercial, industrial buildings and related structures for compliance to building codes and regulations, recommends code enforcement and building inspection policies to the City Council for adoption, supervises and directs the maintenance, construction, repair and improvements on City buildings and facilities, acts as the City’s Safety Officer; and does other related work as required.
