Under general direction of the Community Development Director, the Chief Building Official serves as the administer of the City's Building Division and Permit Center; will enforce all laws and regulations including the Building, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical Codes; perform plan review and field verification for all applicable codes; and perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
