Primary assignment will focus on mapping and geolocating drinking water facilities to comply with new state regulatory compliance.  Secondary assignments may include field engineering support on construction of capital utility projects and assisting on various engineering reports and studies.

The Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) team of the Human Services Agency (HSA) of San Mateo County is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Rehabilitation Production Supervisor I/II. San Mateo County Health's Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Division is seeking a responsible, innovative leader and skilled clinician for the position of Supervising Mental Health Clinician - East Palo Alto Services. This Supervising Mental Health Clinician will supervise and coordinate the work of mental health professionals and interns in the East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park geographic area in San Mateo County. This position works closely with community members and community providers to develop and sustain programming that is culturally and community responsive.

 

This position will participate in program administration, planning and evaluation. The Supervising Mental Health Clinician supervises and guides the clinical team who provides services to seriously emotionally disturbed youth and their families, and seriously mentally ill adults. Services provided include: medication assessment and management; individual, group and family therapy; psychological assessment; case management; rehabilitation services; and crisis intervention.

 

The current vacancy is in the East Palo Alto Community Counseling Center, located in East Palo Alto but will travel throughout San Mateo County for client visits, trainings and meetings.

 

The East Palo Alto Community Counseling Center offers a unique setting to provide services to a diverse population in a community-oriented clinic.

 

This position supervises a multidisciplinary team that provides clinical outpatient services to adults and children and their families. The team may include psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses and social workers and marriage and family therapists. The clinical teams also include master and doctoral level interns and psychiatric residents. In providing clinical services team members also relate to peer counselors and parent partners.

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Knowledge of system of care principles and general services.

• Demonstrated expertise and skill in clinical work with adults with serious mental illnesses and youth with serious emotional disturbances; and clients with co-occurring disorders.

The Adult Psychiatric Social Worker/Marriage Family Therapists an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a broad range of psychosocial interventions with the goal of improving the quality of life of the client.
