This position's primary responsibilities are to identify, track, provide support and manage volunteers for the City of Los Altos programs and services, supporting various City departments. A significant amount of support is provided to Senior Programs offered by the Recreation & Community Services Department. This position is a temporary, non-benefited, at-will position averaging 15-20 hours per week.
Under supervision of the Building and Vehicle Maintenance Manager, performs semi-skilled work in servicing automotive and other equipment. Assists in more complex repair and maintenance work and performs related work as required.

$19.57 - $24.62 Hourly - No Benefits
Work Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
Work Days: Three days per week depending on assigned section:
Parks/Landscape Section: (Friday - Sunday) OR (Saturday - Monday)
Streets Waste Water/Trees Section: (Monday - Wednesday) OR (Wednesday - Friday)

The Planning Services Manager reports to the Community Development Director and is responsible for Planning Division in the Community Development Department. In this role, the Manager plans, organizes, directs and coordinates, planning, zoning, and community development programs, and participates as a member of the department’s management team in the development of departmental policy and administrative processes, as well as undertaking related work as required.
