San Juan Water District Seeks an Electrical Instrumentation Technician

The Electrical Instrumentation Technician is part of the Operations team, performing specialized and technical duties associated with the troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and repair of electrical gear, breakers, electronic equipment, and instrumentation controls associated with surface water treatment plant, pump stations, distributions system facilities, wholesale meters, and medium voltage solar site component. 

Duties Include: 

• Performing corrective and preventative maintenance on electrical switchgear, breakers, transformers, process control systems, flowmeters, transmitters, gauges and other instrumentation and control equipment.
• Performing skilled duties related to the troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of instrumentation, Programmable Logic Controller’s (PLC’s), telemetry, electrical and electronic components and instruments used in treatment plants, distribution systems and solar fields. 
• Recognizing, identifying and correcting problems with control and instrumentation equipment.
• Planning, installing and maintaining sophisticated electrical, instrumentation, and control systems; developing and using diagnostic problem solving techniques.
• Inspecting, adjusting, installing, calibrating, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), breakers, transformers, motors, transducers, motor control centers, switches, wiring, electronic circuits, meter transmitters, (Cl2) sensors, and related devices.
• Installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting control systems and water quality instruments, analyzers and electrical systems as they relate to water treatment, distribution, and solar systems.
• Working collaboratively with engineering to maintain and modify drawings of District’s Electrical Systems, PLC’s and SCADA systems.
• Assisting in new project design, inspection, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical 
• Systems, including but not limited to, submittals, RFIs, change orders, site layout and planning of specific drawings.

To be considered, candidates should be knowledgeable of principles and practices of electrical theory and electrical circuits, practices and techniques used in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance and repair of radio telemetry, cellular communication, 4160V solar field, electrical and electronic equipment, instrumentation and controls as they relate to water treatment and distribution systems. 

The qualifications include:

• Graduation from high school or equivalent with additional supplementary course work in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, control systems, or equivalent material pertaining to the field of electronics AND
• Three years of journey level experience in the design, construction, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic equipment, instrument systems, and control devices common to an industrial facility, water treatment plant, and distribution systems. 
• Possession of a valid California motor vehicle operator's class C license.

The salary range is $55.81 - $66.97, depending on qualifications. In addition, the District offers competitive benefits which include District contribution to CalPERS retirement, medical (100% of premium for most offered plans), dental and vision for employee and dependents; District paid life insurance; 12 paid days of sick leave; 12 paid holidays; and paid vacation depending on length of service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Explains, interprets and analyzes affordable housing policies and regulations for the public. Implements and interprets the local, state and federal legislation on inclusionary housing policies. Provides information to housing developers regarding compliance with regulatory agreements for residential projects.   Negotiates complex agreements and policies related to affordable housing, effectively soliciting the input of developers, affordable housing advocates, and other stakeholders. Manage housing consultant contracts. Reviews proformas and financial assistance options. Evaluates requests for loans and grant financing and bond issuances for projects leading to funding recommendations. Coordinates and facilitates the development of affordable subsidized and inclusionary housing in the Spring Lake Specific Plan area, as well as infill sites throughout the City. Manages and monitors affordable housing program (all inclusionary units) for rental and for sale properties. Administers the City’s Community Development Block Grant and Continuum of Care programs including funded activities. Prepares state and federal grant applications and assists in locating alternative funding sources for community development activities and completes all related reporting. Administers projects and programs funded by the State HOME Program and other federal and state funding sources, including contract management and long-term compliance monitoring.  Regular, predictable, consistent and timely attendance is an essential function of the position, in that Employee must be present to work to complete assigned tasks. 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Researches and analyzes technical and statistical data to implement goals, objectives and policies of the Housing Element and makes recommendations to improve program activities. Prepares and presents staff reports to a variety of audiences. Coordinates with the Finance Department in preparation and administration of the Housing Program budget and maintenance of affordable housing program portfolio. Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in community development, planning, public administration, business administration, economics or related field.

SRFECC is preparing for a Dispatcher Academy, beginning February 2026! As a Dispatcher I, you will be a key player in the public safety network, managing both emergency and non-emergency calls. Your role involves receiving critical information, dispatching appropriate Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) resources, providing live-saving instructions, relaying facts, and ensuring effective communication throughout the incident. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with no prior public safety dispatching experience. Advancement to Dispatcher II is expected within two years, and offers greater responsibility and higher pay.

Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Operations:

• Operate a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) console with a multi-line telephone system, radio console, and office computer terminal.

POSITION

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill one full-time vacancy for the position of Clinical Therapist II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). 

Tri-City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve-hour days per workweek and one alternating eight-hour day every other week. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.

The specific shift and schedule will be determined by the supervisor; however, the first one to two months of training will follow a 5-day-per-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule

Examples of shifts are included below:

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Night Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as Clinical Therapist II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Clinical Therapist II will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Clinical Therapist II will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client’s (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;
   

• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure;
   

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;
   

• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;
   

• Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them;
   

• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.

TOWN MANAGER - TOWN OF LOOMIS

The Town Council of the Town of Loomis, California (population 6,800) is seeking an energetic and engaging individual with a commitment to public service to become its new Town Manager. The Town Manager directs, coordinates, and manages the overall administrative   activities and operations of the Town and advises and assists the Town Council while exercising significant independent judgment and initiative. In this smaller-sized entity, the Town Manager will need to be comfortable with a hands-on and collaborative approach to day-to-day  management. This will include providing strong leadership and frequent interaction with the small team (Finance, Community Development, Engineering and Public Works), fostering a    collaborative, open dialogue, and teamwork. The Town Council also seeks a Town Manager who enjoys working in the public sector and appreciates the variety and diversity of contributions from all sources within the organization, as well as from this active and engaged community.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and progressively responsible experience in an administrative, managerial, or senior level staff capacity in a comparable organization with  similar issues. California municipal experience, particularly in a rural setting, is highly regarded by the Town Council, although all highly qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. An advanced degree may be a plus based on overall career experience.

The City of Lincoln is hiring a Seasonal Maintenance Worker I within the Parks and Facilities Division of the Public Works Department.

The Department is looking for an individual with at least one year of responsible experience performing municipal parks maintenance. Course work and training in maintenance, agronomy, horticulture, forestry, natural resource management, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, janitorial or related field is highly desirable.  

Under general supervision, this position learns to perform and performs the full array of duties assigned to classes in the Maintenance Worker series including maintenance, construction and equipment operation work in one or more Public Works divisions.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Maintenance Worker I is the entry level class responsible for a wide variety of maintenance and construction tasks. This classification is alternatively staffed with Maintenance Worker II and incumbents may advance to the higher-level after gaining experience and demonstrating a level of proficiency that meets the qualifications of the higher-level class.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED

The Maintenance Worker I receives general supervision from a Public Services Supervisor. Incumbents of this class do not routinely exercise supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs maintenance, repair, construction, equipment operation and installation work in parks and buildings.

Position requires sitting, standing, walking on level and slippery surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping and making repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties. The position also requires both near and far vision when inspecting work and operating assigned equipment. The need to lift, carry and push tools, equipment and supplies weighing 25 pounds or more is also required. Additionally, the incumbent in this outdoor position works in all weather conditions including wet, hot and cold. The incumbent may use cleaning and lubricating chemicals, pesticides or herbicides which may expose the employee to fumes, dust and air contaminants. The nature of the work also requires the incumbent to climb ladders, use power and noise producing tools and equipment, operate hydraulic aerial devices, drive motorized vehicles and heavy equipment, work in heavy vehicle traffic conditions and often work with constant interruptions.

The City of Wheatland is accepting applications for Police Officer and/or lateral. 

POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Wheatland Police Department is responsible for providing public safety for the city. Services provided by the Police department include uniformed patrol, investigative services, traffic enforcement and administration. Dispatch services are provided under a contract with the Yuba County Sheriff. The Police Department is staffed with 11.5 FTE positions, of which 9 are authorized sworn positions. The authorized department staffing includes 1 Police Chief, 1 Sergeant, 6 Officers, 3 part-time Reserves and 2 non-sworn positions.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Under general supervision from the Police Sergeant, to perform a variety of duties in law enforcement and crime prevention programs; to maintain order and a safe environment for the citizens of Wheatland; to participate in criminal investigations and crime prevention programs; and to provide a variety of duties relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
