THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for an individual to serve as a Clinical Therapist I/II for the School Based Services Program within the Child & Family Clinic. The Clinical Therapist I/II will appeal to individuals who are inspired by challenges and opportunities presented in working with an engaged and active community with moderate to severe behavioral health clients. 

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:
 

• Provides individual, group, and family interventions, rehabilitation, and treatment services including counseling, therapy, case management, and referral and linkage to community services to a variety of clients including high acuity clients.
   
• Within scope of authority, assesses, diagnoses, and treats a variety of clients with mental health disorders; collaborates with clients and creates individualized treatments plans according to client’s needs and circumstances.
   
• Initiates and conducts individual, group, and family counseling and biopsychosocial therapy sessions utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities; provides case management services in the office and in the field.
   
• Performs routine and emergency intake evaluations according to Authority procedure; completes appropriate forms and documents relating to the intake process; and prepares medical and demographic case history for use in diagnosis.
   

• Assists clients and family members in understanding behavioral health diagnosis, contributing factors/causes, effects, prognosis, rehabilitation, and treatment.
   
• Works with clients to address stressors and barriers to treatment and/or social functioning; identifies and focuses on client strengths and personal resources to effectively engage and treat client.

Under policy direction from the City Council, the City Manager serves as the chief executive officer for the City; The City Manager plans, manages, organizes and directs the overall administrative activities and operations of the City, develops and implements budget and financial strategies for the City and provides complex administrative support to the City Council. The City Manager develops and recommends policies, procedures, rules, and regulations governing City operations for presentation and approval from the City Council and ensures proper communication and implementation of policy decisions. This position directs the preparation of staff reports and agenda items and ensures that all City Council actions are properly recorded and implemented.

POSITION

Perform routine non-hazardous police office activities.  The purpose of this recruitment is to fill a current vacancy, as well as establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.

** These positions work alternate shifts which will cover a 24-hour operation.  Successful applicants may be required to work alternative hours, which may include swing shift, graveyard shift, including weekends and/or holidays. **

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Ideal Candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of Law Enforcement organizational structure. The Ideal Candidate will also possess good communication, customer conflict resolution skills, and writing skills, as well as be competent with computers and related software, e.g., report management, and MS Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of principles, codes, regulations and laws governing records management of a police department.  Additionally, the Ideal Candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to multitask, prioritize, knowledge of complex filing systems, and be available for shift work.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Process and maintain a variety of police records, files, forms, and manuals. Issues, receives, types, and processes various applications, permits, and other forms; processes warrants, permits, and citations; collects and processes fees and charges. Entries and modifications into a state and nationwide system. Processes police reports including receiving, reviewing, copying, distributing, filing, and making corrections as applicable. Logs subpoenas; collects, posts, and distributes department mail.  Answers a multi-line telephone system, providing information or routing calls to appropriate individuals. Greets the general public, giving information on the department and answering routine questions. Types, proofreads, and processes a variety of documents including general correspondence, memos, and legal documents. Operates standard office equipment including computer remote terminals. Creates and maintains files and databases. Provides fingerprint services for applicants and voluntary bookings. Performs related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

File routine reports and correspondence; perform general clerical duties using typewriter and word processor.  Respond to citizen requests for information and assistance.  Complete minor reports as required. Retrieve and input data into computer terminal. Receive calls and take messages. Accumulate data and prepare monthly statistical reports.  Process requests for copies of reports from both citizens and other criminal justice agencies. Inventory supplies and order when necessary.  Process monies and fees via the cash register, prepare licenses and permits, prepare and issue bills, complete citation sign-offs.  Prepare correspondences to victims of crime.  Complete and prepare background and record checks.  Process voluntary bookings and court ordered registrations.  Perform fingerprinting and Live Scan digital printing.  Assist in the transportation of property and evidence. Assist in preparation for the auction of property. Purge files. Provide relief for full-time Community Services Officers.  Regular and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: One (1) year of general administrative office work experience OR six (6) months of administrative office work in a law enforcement agency. Prefer experience with substantial public interaction.

License or Certificate: Possession of a valid California driver’s license required upon hire.

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill one full-time vacancy for the position of Clinical Therapist II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). 

Tri-City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve-hour days per workweek and one alternating eight-hour day every other week. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.

The specific shift and schedule will be determined by the supervisor; however, the first one to two months of training will follow a 5-day-per-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule

Examples of shifts are included below:

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Night Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as Clinical Therapist II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Clinical Therapist II will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Clinical Therapist II will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client’s (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;
   

• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure;
   

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;
   

• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;
   

• Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them;
   

• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

Maintenance Worker I

The Maintenance Worker I is the entry level class responsible for a wide variety of maintenance and construction tasks. This classification is alternatively staffed with Maintenance Worker II and incumbents may advance to the higher-level after gaining experience and demonstrating a level of proficiency that meets the qualifications of the higher-level class.

Maintenance Worker II

The Maintenance Worker II is the journey level class responsible for a wide variety of maintenance and construction tasks. This classification is distinguished from the next higher classification of Senior Maintenance Worker in that the latter performance the more complex assignments and lead responsibilities.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED

The Maintenance Worker I receives general supervision from a Public Services Supervisor.  Incumbents of this class do not routinely exercise supervision.  

The Maintenance Worker II receives general supervision from a Public Services Supervisor. May exercise technical and functional supervision over assigned staff. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Include but are not limited to the following:

• Performs maintenance, repair, construction, equipment operation and installation work in streets, water, sewers, refuse collection, parks and buildings.
• Streets: Breaks, removes, crack seals, hydropatches, and repairs surfaces; digs, shovels, hauls, loads and unloads materials; operates jack hammers, tampers, pavement breakers and other hand and power tools; rolls and irons asphalt; operates trucks, backhoes, rollers, pavers, street sweepers and other construction vehicles and equipment; assists in the installation and maintenance of City signs, road markings, striping and delineators; paints street lines and crosswalks; performs concrete sidewalk, curb, gutter and ramp installation and repair; installs, maintains and repairs street lights; installs shoring and trench plates; monitors underground service alert (USA’s) and marks when necessary; conducts street leaf pickup; mows roadsides.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Position requires sitting, standing, walking on level and slippery surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping and making repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties. The position also requires both near and far vision when inspecting work and operating assigned equipment. The need to lift, carry and push tools, equipment and supplies weighing 25 pounds or more is also required. Additionally, the incumbent in this outdoor position works in all weather conditions including wet, hot and cold. The incumbent may use cleaning and lubricating chemicals, pesticides or herbicides which may expose the employee to fumes, dust and air contaminants. The nature of the work also requires the incumbent to climb ladders, use power and noise producing tools and equipment, operate hydraulic aerial devices, drive motorized vehicles and heavy equipment, work in heavy vehicle traffic conditions and often work with constant interruptions.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

TOWN MANAGER - TOWN OF LOOMIS

The Town Council of the Town of Loomis, California (population 6,800) is seeking an energetic and engaging individual with a commitment to public service to become its new Town Manager. The City of Dixon is recruiting to fill a full-time position of a Maintenance Worker I/II in the Public Works Streets Division and to establish an Eligibility List for future use. 

Essential Job Functions When Assigned to Streets: Performs semi-skilled and skilled repair and maintenance tasks involving traffic painting, traffic sign installation and maintenance and the installation of reflectors; performs minor street asphalting, patching and sealing; performs cement work on sidewalks, curbs and gutters; performs weed spraying, tree and bush trimming; performs graffiti removal. Positions operate backhoe for preparing grades and trenching and operate other equipment including, but not limited to, paint sprayer and striper, tractor, scraper, rototiller, chain saw, weed eater, mower, air compressor, paving machine, sand blaster, and emulsion sprayer.

Maintenance Worker I: This is the entry level class in the Maintenance Worker series and positions in this class typically have little or no directly related work experience.

Maintenance Worker II: This is the journey level class in the Maintenance Worker series and is distinguished from the I level by the assignment of the full range of duties.
