Under the direction of the Fire Chief and supervised by the fire department members, student Interns will gain experience while at the fire department with the primary focus on safety. Work will include labor in a non-hostile work environment and may include but not limited to, hose rolling, fire hydrant maintenance and painting, cleaning apparatus and stations, emergency scene clean-up, fire prevention visits, public education participation and general administrative assignments.
Under general supervision, the Account Clerk II is a journey level position, which requires 2 years of experience as an Account Clerk I or equivalent. This position is the second step in the Account Clerk job classification.
Incumbents in this class perform a wide variety of complex financial clerical work including general ledger account analysis, billing, posting and checking records; receives, answers or refers public request or inquiries; operates the telephone.
Network Technician I: annual salary range is $55,161.60 - $67,225.60, hourly range is $26.52 - $32.32
Network Technician II: annual salary range is $64,872.20 - $78,852.80, hourly range is $31.19 - $37.91
Network Technician III: annual salary range is $71,884.80 - $87,422.40, hourly range is $34.56 - $42.03
Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force (MGPTF) is the City of San José’s Youth Violence Reduction Strategy which operates within PRNS department of the City of San Jose. Over the past 25 years, the MGPTF has strategically worked to address issues of gang involvement among youth and young adults in an effort to reduce youth violence associated with gangs.
