We are seeking a Special Projects Associate (working title: GIS Technician) to support the Public Works & Engineering Department on a part-time basis. This role is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in local government while contributing to projects that directly impact our community's infrastructure, planning, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update GIS data using ESRI ArcGIS.
- Create maps and reports for Public Works and Planning projects.
- Assist with asset management and infrastructure planning.
- Provide GIS support to city staff.
Position Details:
- Part-time, averaging 20 hours per week (flexible schedule).
- Cannot exceed 1000 hours within a fiscal year.
- Hourly rate based on experience.
- Valid California Class C driver’s license is required.
- Fully on-site position (not hybrid or remote).
