Recreation Leader I, II, III (Youth Sports Coach) (20138088)
Definition: Under supervision, to provide leadership to recreation programs, activities or service; organizes and implements program elements and oversees participants; and performs related work as required. This temporary part-time non-benefited position works an average of 8 -15 hours per week during each sports season. This position requires afternoon and evening shifts.
A Dance Instructor (Program Specialist) will plan, prepare and instruct recreation activities. Activities may include art, cooking, dance, pre-school program and other program areas. Programs are designed for children ages 4-17 (primarily 5-12) years of age.
Dance programs may include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, folkloric, salsa, and rhythmic international styles.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (These duties are a general description and are not all inclusive.)
Share your passion by teaching students! Enrichment instructors lead a one hour class on-site after school. Enjoy the freedom to plan a curriculum on your area of expertise and share that knowledge with a class size of 5-15 students.
