The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is currently accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the classification of Correctional Officer.  Under continuing supervision incumbents perform a wide variety of support in two areas: corrections, in which incumbents ensure the security, safety and care of individuals in custody; and bailiff, in which incumbents ensure the safety and security of the courts and their personnel during court proceedings; and perform related work as assigned. The county prisoner population is made up of those who are sentenced to county jail, those serving state prison sentences in the county jail under AB109, and those who are pre-trial and who have not yet been sentenced. The jail provides a necessary link in the criminal justice system. THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill two (2) full-time vacancies for the position of Peer Support Specialist I/II (PSS) within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). This position requires individuals to work on-site 5 days a week from 9:00am to 5:30pm, until training is successfully completed. Once fully trained, your schedule may adjust based on team needs and role requirements. 

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Peer Support Specialist I/II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Peer Support Specialist will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Peer Support Specialist will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client's (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs & other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;

• Perform field-based & telephone emergency mental health evaluations & crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure;

• Provide crisis intervention & stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;

• Identify treatment needs & make appropriate referrals for necessary services;

• Perform triage & linkages to non-client community members in the Tri-City catchment areas.

San Mateo County Health is seeking a well-qualified individuals for the position of Environmental Health Specialist IV - Consumer Protection Programs. Environmental Health Specialist will receive general supervision and provide lead direction in performing various countywide environmental health inspection and enforcement activities in one of the several specialized technical areas such as consumer protection, food sanitation, recreational water, water, sewage, land use, and cross connection control; vector control; solid waste; medical waste; and housing and institutions.

There is currently one regular vacancy that will function as a Food Plan Check Specialist within the Environmental Health Division Food and Pool Programs, located in San Mateo, but the position will include travel/driving throughout the county to perform duties of the job.

Environmental Health Services ensures a safe and healthful environment in the County's 20 cities and unincorporated areas through education, monitoring and enforcement of a variety of regulatory programs, as well as ongoing services to the community.

Duties within the Consumer Protection Programs include:

• Lead specialized programs within the Food and Pool Programs, such as Food and Pool Facilities Plan Review, Cottage Food Operations, Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operations (MEHKO), Temporary Food Events, Mobile Food Facilities, and Certified Farmers Markets.
• Lead quality assurance, quality control and standardization functions.
• Conduct compliance inspections of programs and projects within the Consumer Protection Programs as assigned.
• Lead or provide direction in the investigation of citizen complaints.
• Lead and implement special projects.
• Set program standards, coordinate activities with various County and City Departments, collaborate with California Conference of Directors of Environmental Health ad hoc committees and stakeholders.

Licensure/Certification:

Recreation staff are also tasked with operating recreation centers, picnic sites and rental facilities, preschools and select South San Francisco Unified School District after school sites that serve residents of all age groups.

THE POSITION

Under direction of the Recreation and Community Services Supervisor, performs responsible administrative, coordinating, and technical duties in one of the Parks and Recreation programs; and does related work as required. This classification is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the program and for the coordinating, supervisory, and administrative duties for the assigned program area.

Youth Enrichment Services (YES) Program:

The YES Coordinator is responsible for the operation of one of the City’s Licensed Before and After School programs or the REAL After School Programs, seasonal and summer camps. 

The Office Assistant II performs general clerical duties related to filing, reception, form processing, record maintenance, mail, typing or data entry; obtains and compares information related to department records, programs, and services; and performs related work as required at the Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency. Specific duties include collecting, sorting, scanning, posting, delivering and picking up mail, correspondence, and documents for all divisions of the agency, driving a van approximately 100 miles per day on a planned courier route within a specific time schedule. This position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.

JOB DUTIES

• Performs routine clerical work as required, which may include copying and filing documents, indexing, processing daily in-coming and out-going mail, faxing information, assembling materials, etc.
• Answers the telephone; provides information and assistance to callers or routes calls to appropriate staff person; takes messages as necessary. Greets and assists office visitors.
• Compiles information and data as requested for use in reports and management decision-making.
• Enters a variety of departmental data into computer; retrieves data as necessary; operates printer and other peripheral equipment as needed.

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Accounting/Customer Service Representative to join the Public Services Division within the Finance Department. This role will serve as a key liaison between the community and the City's revenue operations, managing a high volume of payments and customer inquiries, supporting diverse revenue programs, and adapting to evolving priorities. Primary Responsibilities

• Utility Billing & Collections: Prepare and adjust water and wastewater bills, resolve customer inquiries, and set up payment arrangements to maintain uninterrupted service. When accounts become delinquent, coordinate lien filings and work with customers and field crews to clear balances and restore service.
• Business Tax: Oversee the full life cycle of business license applications and renewals, from initial customer service to intake and fee collection, to compliance verification, and final issuance. Coordinate with Planning, Building, Code Enforcement, and Thousand Oaks Police Department to resolve discrepancies, update records, and provide guidance on licensing requirements.
• Payment Processing & Cashiering: Process payments for all revenue programs, both at the front counter and within a centralized unit, and reconcile daily cash receipts. Balance cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and validate transactions against the general ledger.

• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with field technicians, IT, Thousand Oaks Police Department, and other departments to resolve billing and payment issues, identify process improvements, and share best practices. Cross-train on multiple revenue streams to enhance team agility and service coverage.
• Administrative Support: Administer specialized billing programs, including parking citations for false alarm, from initiation through resolution, ensuring accuracy, analytics, and compliance.
