Carmel Area Wastewater District is looking for an exceptionally talented and motivated Laboratory Manager who is technically experienced in a water quality laboratory operation, having in-depth knowledge of the principles, practices, and functions of laboratory operations in public utility water and wastewater quality control. They will have obtained and maintained laboratory accreditation under State Water Board Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) requirements meeting the 2024 TNI Standards.

Qualifications: 

• Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
  • Two years of increasingly responsible information services experience related to area of assignment.
  • Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in information science or a related field. 
  • Possession of information services industry recognized certifications are desirable.
