Under the general direction of the City Manager, the Human Resource Director will conduct, lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including employee relations, recruitment and selection of staff, administering pay, compensation and classifications, benefits, and leave, and enforcing City policies, procedures, and practices. This position can be assigned special projects by the City Manager.
Upon successful completion of POST Academy, the position becomes a full-time probationary Police Officer position.

Under supervision, the Community Service Officer (CSO) performs a wide range of field and office support duties in the patrol and support services divisions within the Marysville Police Department.
This is a specialized, full-time, non-sworn classification. The Community Service Officer has no powers of arrest.
Definition:
To perform varied and routine non-sworn duties with emphasis on parking enforcement and vehicle abatement program.
