Glenn County is recruiting individuals to fill one full time position and multiple Part Time/Extra Help positions in the Public Works Agency. The Public Works Maintenance Worker I/II/III position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled labor in the construction, maintenance and repair of County roads, bridges, and other related structures, and in various traffic control maintenance and  repair activities of the Public Works Agency; operates a variety of construction, maintenance and transportation equipment as necessary to complete daily tasks at the Glenn County Public Works Agency. The Public Works Maintenance Worker III position is the journey-level class in the series, and is distinguished from the Public Works Maintenance Worker II by the primary responsibility to operate heavy diesel and gasoline-powered construction equipment in the maintenance of roadways, drainage systems. 
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepares roads for patch repairs, overlays, or chip seals; prepares mix for patching roads; repairs and reconstructs roads.
• Cleans roadsides and drainage systems; inspects and clears debris from drainage systems; conducts roadside burning as needed.
• Prunes trees and other vegetation as needed.
• Directs and controls traffic around work sites.
• Operates semi-trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, boom truck, front loader, rollers, snow plow, etc.; operates a compressor, sand blasters, jack hammer, chipper machine, welding equipment, cutting torch, compaction tools, weed eater, blower, and other hand and power tools.

Glenn County is seeking a Human Resources (Personnel) Analyst I/II to support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, leave administration, benefits, recruitment, and more. This is a hands­-on, generalist role offering broad exposure to HR operations and the opportunity to make a direct impact on County employees and services. The official job class title for this position is currently the Personnel Analyst I/II. This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•    Assisting with employee benefits and health plan administration, employee inquiries, enrollment support, and new employee orientation
•    Supporting leave administration processes and maintaining confidential personnel records and documentation
•    Preparing, proofreading, and coordinating reports, agendas, contracts, correspondence, notices, and other professional documents
•    Responding to employee and department inquiries and assisting in interpreting policies, procedures, and personnel-related requirements

This position performs a variety of work in the monitoring of county, state and federal detainees and maintains the security and safety of inmates and staff.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

• Performs booking procedures, including receiving, booking and assigning prisoners to cells; performing body searches; fingerprinting, and photographing prisoners, etc.
• Maintains custody of prisoners’ private property.
• Maintains the safe and orderly operation of the County jail facility; monitors security cameras and door warning lights; screens and monitors visitors. Inspects all of inmates’ incoming and outgoing mail and telegrams.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Psychiatric Technician I/II (Licensed) on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

Tri-City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve-hour days per workweek and one alternating eight-hour day every other week. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.

The specific shift and schedule will be determined by the supervisor; however, the first one to two months of training will follow a 5-day-per-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule

Examples of shifts are included below:

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Night Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Shift Rotation

• Please note that shifts may be rotated every six months to ensure a fair distribution of day and night shifts across the team. This rotation allows team members to gain experience in various shifts and provides opportunities for a balanced work schedule over time.

Availability

• As our Mobile Crisis Care team provides critical support during community crises, it’s essential that members can respond promptly. To ensure timely response, team members must reside within a 30-minute commute to the Authority in heavy traffic. If selected, candidates who do not currently meet this requirement will be expected to relocate within four weeks of accepting the position.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities, including, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conducts home/field visits to evaluate client’s physical environment and behavior such as anxiety, withdrawals, and behavioral health progression/regression.
• Takes and records measures of clients’ vital signs, physical condition, and behaviors; assists and observes clients self-dispense medication as prescribed by a psychiatrist and administers scheduled injections.
• Conducts medication checks on clients to assess their overall medication management capabilities; takes appropriate action if client poses danger with respect to the use or abuse of medication; observes, evaluates, records, and reports to professional staff changes in client’s condition.
• Motivates clients to develop self-reliance in daily living; encourages clients to participate in group and/or individual therapy/program activities.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is currently hiring to fill one part-time vacancy for the position of Peer Support Specialist II within the Adult Outpatient (AOP) Department. This position provides peer to peer support services in the office and/or in the field including, but not limited to outreach, support, encouragement, guidance, advocacy, and referrals to external resources and services for clients and their families; builds rapport with clients and their families through sharing stories of lived experience and recovery.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Encourages and supports clients to fully engage in services; provides outreach and assists clients in addressing and overcoming barriers to treatment.
   
• Provides resources and referrals to address basic needs and other barriers to wellness and recovery including food, housing, clothing, transportation, and other financial resources.
   
• Assists clients with setting, implementing, and tracking wellness and recovery goals; develops individual Wellness and Recovery Action Plans (WRAP); models and shares effective coping strategies.
   
• Assists clients and families to understand behavioral health problems and steps to recovery.
   
• Provides support and guidance in navigating systems and obtaining additional support services; attends meetings and therapy sessions with clients (as needed); assists with completing applications and forms; and ensures client concerns are address and processes understood.
   
• Performs related duties as required.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for two individuals to fill the positions of Psychiatric Technician I/II whom will provide medication support services both in the field and at the office. This particular position is located within the Adult Outpatient Clinic and will report to the Medication Support Team Manager & the Medication Support Services Supervisor. The Psychiatric Technician I/II will appeal to individuals who are inspired by challenges and opportunities presented in working with an engaged and active community by providing all manner of adjunctive medication support services.

Psychiatric Technician I: This is the entry-level classification in the Psychiatric Technician series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform routine medication monitoring, administration, and support, while learning Authority policies and procedures. 

Psychiatric Technician II: This is the journey-level classification in the Psychiatric Technician series. Positions at this level are distinguished from the Psychiatric Technician I by the performance of the full range of duties as assigned, working independently, and exercising judgment and initiative. Positions at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Psychiatrist I:  $234,898.25 - $299,796.51/annually

Psychiatrist II: $259,283.92 - $330,919.11/annually

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Psychiatrist I/II for the Adult Outpatient Clinic/Adult Full Service Partnership (FSP) Department. The Psychiatrist I/II will provide medical and psychiatric treatment and diagnostic services to clients in the caseload of Tri-City and provide collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team in a public mental health agency. Provide integrated, effective, and high-quality behavioral health care to the residents of Pomona, Claremont and La Verne with moderate to severe functional impairment due to mental illness.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Perform intake and diagnostic interviews on a scheduled and emergent basis.
   
• Participate in diagnostic staff evaluation of clients.
   
• Provide medical psychiatric treatment of clients.
   
• Maintain and disseminate medical records and reports in compliance with Federal, State and Agency regulations, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, Public Law 111-005 (“HITECH Act”).
   
• Submit required statistical and other requested information on a timely basis.
   
• Consult and provide information to other agencies that are coordinating their work with that of the behavioral health service agency.
   
• May serve on Utilization Review Committee, Medication Review Committee, and chair Peer Review Committee as assigned.
   
• May conduct specialized research, special studies, and services.
   
• Provide medical consultative services to the behavioral health services staff; lead team conferences and provide clinical direction in unit(s) to which assigned.
   
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Share your passion by teaching students! Enrichment instructors lead a one hour class on-site after school. Enjoy the freedom to plan a curriculum on your area of expertise and share that knowledge with a class size of 5-15 students.

DEFINITION: Plan, organize and execute personal curriculum for elementary age children for a one hour onsite outdoor enrichment program. Program hours could include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm – 4pm and Wednesday 1:15pm – 3:15pm, preparation hours can be discussed.
