The position of Public Safety Officer-In Training is a non-sworn, training classification while incumbents are attending the police and fire academies. Upon successful completion of the police academy, incumbents will be promoted to the sworn, training position of Public Safety Officer I. Upon successful completion of all required training, incumbents will be promoted to the sworn position of Public Safety Officer II.

Central County Fire Department is looking for Firefighter/Paramedics (Lateral)!
- Laterals must have two (2) years of continuous firefighting experience to apply/qualify.
- Individuals in the process of obtaining their Paramedic license are encouraged to apply, but will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
This is a NEW program within the Marysville Fire Department. The Marysville Fire Department is hiring continuously for twelve (12) Firefighter Reserves. These positions will be funded for four (4) years through the SAFER Grant.
For each 24 hour shift worked, you will receive $60 for food and mileage, that will be paid monthly in accordance with the City of Marysville's established pay schedule.
Typical placement is made at the first step of the salary range
