Senior Systems Security Analyst

Receives general direction from the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer. Exercises technical and functional supervision over professional and technical personnel for assigned projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Architect, implement, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot various security systems that protect the City’s networks, IT/OT systems (including SCADA), applications and critical infrastructure.
• Design, organize, modify, install, secure and support security infrastructure; and provide technical support for network and security issues associated with enterprise applications.
• Analyze both raw and processed security alerts, logs and event data to identify potential security incidents, threats, mitigations, and vulnerabilities.
• Architect, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the City’s business continuity plan and emergency response plan as it relates to redundant, secure infrastructure.
• Investigate, analyze, produce reports, and remediate security incidents that occur on City systems and applications, both on-premises as well as in the cloud.

The City of Dixon is recruiting one (1) Senior Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor for the 2026 Aquatic Season.

The Senior Lifeguard/Swim Instructor performs a variety of duties to ensure the City of Dixon swimming pool is a safe and enjoyable aquatic facility. Supervises pool patrons, enforces pool rules, performs first aid and emergency rescues, instructs swim lessons, performs cashiering duties, leads recreational activities; performs related and other work as required.

Staff may be expected to work weekends and on fixed holidays. Those who work on a City Holiday will earn 1 ½ times their base hourly salary.

• Develop and implement activities and programs for youth.
• Directly supervise children, monitor and redirect behavior, both on site and during trips.

The position will be filled at either the Water Distribution Operator I or Water Distribution Operator II classification, dependent upon candidate qualifications. The salary ranges for each classification are as follows:

• Water Distribution Operator I: $35.87 – $48.43 hourly
• Water Distribution Operator II: $39.45 – $53.27 hourly

WORK SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:

The District observes a 4/10 work schedule, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days. The regular work schedule for the Water Distribution Operator I/II position is 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Water Distribution Operators also perform Standby Duty on a rotating basis. Standby Duty begins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and shall end at 5:00 p.m. on the following Tuesday. Per CHWD policy, employees assigned to Standby Duty must reside within fifteen (15) miles of the District headquarters while performing Standby Duty.

Water Distribution Operators are directly involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of valves, mains, services, and related potable water distribution system facilities and equipment. Performs related work as required.

Water Distribution Operator I - This is the entry-level class in the Water Distribution Operator series. Positions in this class typically have little or no directly related work experience and work under immediate supervision while learning job tasks. The Water Distribution Operator I class is distinguished from the II level by the performance of less than the full range of duties assigned to the II level. Incumbents work under immediate supervision while learning job tasks, progressing to general supervision as procedures and processes of the assigned area of responsibility are learned.

  • One year of responsible experience similar to a Water Distribution Worker with the District

The City of Lincoln is hiring up to 20 part-time Water Safety Instructors within the Recreation Department.  This position may require you to work various days, weekends or evenings.

Under the direct or general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator, performs a variety of duties to supervise the pool, decks, and additional areas of an aquatic facility; and provides swimming instruction.

• Maintain constant surveillance as assigned to safeguard swimmers from drowning and other accidents.
• Maintain discipline and orderly conduct among patrons and enforce all pertinent City pool rules and regulations in order to maintain a safe environment.

• Assist in the planning, promoting and organizing of prescribed Red Cross programs and special events.

The District observes a 4/10 work schedule, Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days. The regular work schedule for this position is 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

POSITION DESCRIPTION, DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Under immediate supervision, the Customer Service Technician performs a variety of customer service and billing support duties, including processing payments, maintaining customer accounts, responding to billing inquiries, and coordinating service orders. The position also provides administrative support to an assigned supervisor and performs related work as required.

This is the entry-level class in the Customer Service series. Employees in this class typically have little or no directly related work experience but demonstrate the ability to perform the full scope of duties and meet performance standards. Incumbents work under close supervision while learning job tasks, progressing to general supervision as procedures and processes are learned.

• Two (2) years of responsible experience similar to Customer Service Technician is desirable

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade supplemented by coursework in business or accounting is desirable

• Valid California Class C Driver’s License may be required. A satisfactory driving record is required.
