Under the supervision of veteran Police Officer's the cadet experiences what it takes to develop important cadet skills. THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for one (1) individual to serve as a Psychiatrist I/II for the Adult Outpatient Clinic. The Psychiatrist I/II will provide medical and psychiatric treatment and diagnostic services to clients in the caseload of Tri-City and provide collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team in a public mental health agency. Provide integrated, effective, and high quality behavioral health care to the residents of Pomona, Claremont and La Verne with moderate to severe functional impairment due to mental illness.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Perform intake and diagnostic interviews on a scheduled and emergent basis.
• Participate in diagnostic staff evaluation of clients.
• Provide medical psychiatric treatment of clients.

THE POSITION

The Police Officer is the journey-level class responsible for performance of the full scope of assigned law enforcement duties and responsibilities, under general supervision. The Lincoln Police Department is authorized for 23 sworn officers, six dispatchers, and various other civilian and volunteer positions.  The dispatch center provides public safety dispatch services for the Lincoln Police Department and three Lincoln Fire stations. The communications center is staffed 24/7 and dispatchers work in pairs or solo. Public safety dispatchers answer emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire and other city services.  Dispatchers prioritize calls and dispatch public safety units as needed.  Heavy phone and radio use is a primary duty of the position.  Other duties include clerical and specialized record keeping functions.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
The Public Safety Dispatcher I is the entry level class in which incumbents learn to perform and perform Police Dispatcher duties under immediate supervision. This classification is alternatively staffed with Public Safety Officer II and incumbents may advance to the higher level after gaining experience and demonstrating a level of proficiency that meets the qualifications of the higher class.

The Public Safety Dispatcher II is the working level class in which incumbents are expected to perform the full range of Police Dispatcher duties with minimum supervision and apply sound judgment regarding their scope of authority in dispatching personnel. This classification is distinguished from the Community Service Officer series in that the latter performs duties involving work in taking reports in the field and performing face-to-face public service activities.

Senior Civil & Environmental Engineer
Salary Range: $95,900/yr. - $189,900/yr. (Budgeted salary range $95,900/yr. - $142,900/yr.)

Use advanced engineering concepts and organizational objectives to provide leadership and support focused on engineering, project management, and compliance for the Facilities Management: Utilities department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum License/Certification:

• Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Civil or Environmental.
• Over ten years of experience in engineering design, master planning, plan review, project administration and facility operation in storm, water, water reuse, sanitary sewer and solid waste systems.
• Extensive experience with interpreting regulations, permitting, and regulatory compliance for water, wastewater, and solid waste operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Education/Experience:  

• Experience with Capital Improvement Project (CIP) budgeting and with developing sewer, water and treatment plant master plan documents and condition assessments.
• Experience with water and wastewater system maintenance; understanding of Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) principles.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative manner with excellent customer service skills; ability to readily assess complex challenges and barriers and recommend effective resolutions.
