Ron Robinson Senior Care Center (RRSCC) is seeking two full-time geriatricians to join our outpatient primary care clinic, located within San Mateo Medical Center in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area.

What we are seeking 

The ideal candidate will possess: 

• Solid clinical treatment, assessment, diagnostic and evaluation skills. 
• Experience/interest in providing treatment to youth (individual therapy, family therapy, and case management). 
• Experience/interest in working with youth with emotional disturbances and with varying degrees of functional impairment and psychiatric presentations.

THE POSITION

The main role for this position of Cybersecurity Analyst I/II will focus on Cybersecurity. The candidate that fills the role will assist in defining enterprise cybersecurity policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure a robust and current cybersecurity program. They will also be responsible to monitor and analyze cybersecurity incident-related data and determine the appropriate response.

DEFINITION

Cybersecurity Analyst I: Under general supervision, provides professional level work, including the design, implementation, evaluation, and daily management of security systems and solutions; and performs duties related to threat detection and prevention, education, risk assessment, compliance, governance, business recovery, forensics, and incident response. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic, public service-oriented environment. Other duties would include but not limited to assisting Network Administrators with items relating to the Network Administrator position.

Cybersecurity Analyst II: Under limited supervision, provides advanced level work, including the design, implementation, evaluation, and daily management of security systems and solutions; and performs duties related to threat detection and prevention, education, risk assessment, compliance, governance, business recovery, forensics, and incident response. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic, public service-oriented environment. Other duties would include but not limited to aiding other Network Administrators with items relating to the Network Administrator position. Positions in this class require frequent use of a high degree of independent judgment and interpretative ability.

Positions in the Cybersecurity Analyst II classification are flexibly staffed and normally filled from advancement from the Cybersecurity Analyst I class, or when filled from the outside, require specific cybersecurity technology experience. Appointment to this class requires the employee to be performing substantially the full range of Cybersecurity Analyst II duties and to meet the qualifications for the class. The class requires the ability to work independently exercising judgment and initiative and a greater knowledge of the City’s security systems and solutions.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

Architects, implements, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots various security systems that protect the City’s networks, IT/OT systems (including SCADA), applications and critical infrastructure; designs, organizes, modifies, installs, secures and supports security infrastructure; and provides technical support for network and security issues associated with enterprise applications; analyzes both raw and processed security alerts, logs and event data to identify potential security incidents, threats, mitigations, and vulnerabilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of:  Network security, threat detection, and incident response; common cyberattack methods such as phishing, ransomware, and malware; security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption technologies; government regulations, data protection laws, and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, CJIS, NIST, NERC CIP, ISO 27000, etc.) is essential, as is the ability disaster recovery planning and maintaining cybersecurity policies tailored to local government infrastructure is critical for ensuring the safety of sensitive public data and services.

Experience:

Cybersecurity Analyst I: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles, preferably within government or public sector organizations.

Education:

The Fellow will assess current storage and inventory practices and help implement a more efficient, organized system. Responsibilities may include developing labeling structures, organizing storage areas, establishing inventory tracking procedures, and improving material accessibility for staff. In collaboration with Service Center personnel, the Fellow will identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, organization, and accountability.

This fellowship offers practical experience in warehouse logistics, operational system design, and cross-functional collaboration, while building skills in organization, problem-solving, and process improvement within a public sector setting.

Receives general directions from the designated WCC host-site employee.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated individual interested in operations, logistics, engineering, business, or public service. The Civic Fellow should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and willing to take initiative to improve organization and efficiency.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn new systems, and the ability to think critically about processes. Interest in organization, data tracking, or hands-on operational work such as inventory or warehouse systems is desirable. Experience with spreadsheets or data entry is helpful but not required.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and reliability. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys solving practical challenges and contributing to systems that help organizations run effectively.

THE POSITION OBJECTIVES/GOALS

The goals of the position are to:

1. Accurately assess and document current inventory of parts and materials within the WJUSD Service Center, including storage locations, item categories, and current organizational practices.

2. Review existing storage systems to identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, or gaps, and coordinate with Service Center, Maintenance, and Transportation staff to improve organization.

3. Develop and implement a standardized organizational structure for parts and materials, including clear storage locations, labeling practices, and logical grouping of inventory.

4. Improve inventory accessibility and efficiency by helping establish procedures that allow staff to quickly locate, store, and track commonly used materials.

5. Create simple documentation and reference materials to support consistent inventory organization practices, including basic procedures for storing and locating materials.

6. Develop a working understanding of school district operational support systems, including how the Service Center supports Maintenance, Facilities, and Transportation functions.

7. Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to improve inventory organization, storage workflows, and material tracking practices.

WOODLAND JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT HOST SITE

Woodland Joint Unified School District (WJUSD) is partnering with the City of Woodland to host two fellows as part of this year’s Civic Fellowship Program. The fellows will work on-site at WJUSD Business Services Office and receive day-to-day guidance and supervision from WJUSD staff while remaining part of the fellowship cohort and participating in program-wide activities.

This posting is for the Environmental Impact Analyst Fellow within the Business Services Department, specifically in the Maintenance, Operations and Facilities at WJUSD.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Woodland Joint Unified School District (WJUSD) Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities Department is seeking a motivated Civic Fellow to support the district’s sustainability and environmental stewardship efforts. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in sustainability practices, facilities operations, and process improvement within a public education setting.

The Civic Fellow will assist in assessing current district practices related to recycling, waste reduction, and resource conservation. This may include reviewing recycling programs, observing waste management practices at school sites, and identifying opportunities to improve sustainability efforts. Working closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities staff, the Fellow will help research best practices and develop practical recommendations to improve environmental outcomes and operational efficiency.

This fellowship provides practical exposure to sustainability planning, facilities management, and public sector operations, equipping participants with valuable skills in research, data analysis, environmental practices, and process improvement while contributing to the district’s commitment to responsible resource management.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

Receives general directions from the designated WJUSD host-site employee.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented individual with an interest in sustainability, environmental science, public administration, and/or facilities operations. The Civic Fellow should be comfortable conducting research, making observations, and working collaboratively with staff across multiple departments.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn about sustainability practices. Interest in environmental responsibility, waste reduction, or operational efficiency is desirable. Experience with research, data collection, or spreadsheets is helpful but not required.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys identifying practical solutions, working on real-world challenges, and contributing to efforts that improve environmental responsibility within a large organization.

THE POSITION OBJECTIVES/GOALS

The goals of the position are to:

1. Assess current sustainability practices within Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities, including recycling programs, waste disposal practices, and resource conservation efforts.

2. Review existing procedures and practices related to recycling and waste reduction, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and environmental impact.

3. Research best practices from other school districts or public agencies related to sustainability, recycling programs, and waste reduction strategies.

4. Support the development of recommendations to improve recycling participation, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices across district sites.

5. Assist in developing simple guidance materials or communication tools to help staff and students better understand sustainability practices.

6. Develop a working understanding of school district facilities operations and the role of sustainability in supporting efficient and responsible operations.

7. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying practical opportunities to strengthen sustainability practices and reduce environmental impact.

The Water Conservation Analyst will support key sustainability efforts by conducting a comprehensive analysis of municipal water usage and the City's response to leaks/over usage across public facilities. The Fellow will analyze five years of historical water consumption data to identify trends, anomalies, inefficiencies, and high-risk locations for water loss. A key focus of the project will be evaluating how the City currently tracks leaks and over-usage, how alerts are generated and routed, and how staff respond to those alerts. The Fellow will propose recommendations to improve leak detection, streamline response protocols, strengthen reporting systems, and reduce water waste supporting long-term water conservation goals.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The Ideal Candidate will be interested in sustainability, municipal operations and public policy. They will also be analytical and detail-oriented, preferably with experience working with large datasets. They will be comfortable cleaning, organizing, and interpreting utility data. An individual skilled in Excel and/or data tools such as GIS, Power BI, Tableau, R, or Python will excel in this role.

The Ideal Candidate will be able to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate clearly with internal and external customers (facilities staff, public works teams, and sustainability leadership).

1. Conduct Comprehensive Water Consumption Analysis
Perform a five-year longitudinal analysis of municipal water usage across City facilities to identify consumption trends, seasonal variability, anomalies, and high-risk locations for potential water loss.

2. Evaluate Leak Detection and Alert Systems
Assess the City’s current leak and over-usage tracking mechanisms, including data collection methods, alert generation protocols, routing procedures, and response timelines to determine system effectiveness and gaps.

3. Identify Operational Inefficiencies and Risk Factors
Diagnose procedural, technological, or communication breakdowns contributing to delayed responses, excessive water use, or undetected leaks, and quantify associated operational and financial impacts where feasible.

4. Develop Strategic Recommendations for System Improvement
Propose data-driven recommendations to enhance leak detection capabilities, streamline interdepartmental response workflows, strengthen reporting infrastructure, and improve accountability measures.

5. Advance Long-Term Water Conservation Outcomes

THE POSITION OBJECTIVES/GOALS

The goal of the position is:

1. Learn about and reinvigorate the City's "The Food Front" food and agricultural economic development campaign. Help with scheduling key stakeholder meetings, running campaigns online, refreshing and improving webpages, and planning engagement events.

2. Lead community and civic engagement efforts, from supporting City Council Members with outreach to preparing materials for anything from possible Prop. 218 fee proposals to education around public programs. 

3. Become familiar with the City's multimedia platforms and help create content, including vertical videos, podcasts, employee highlights, promotions for Community Services programs, events, and initiatives, traditional door to door outreach materials, and more.

4. Research and observe the rollout of SB707 and assist staff with implementing its provisions related to participation and outreach.

5. Analyze performance data and existing marketing strategies used by the City, focusing on campaign objectives, target audiences, and content types.

6. Define and support community engagement efforts and highlight their importance within local government services.

7. Propose innovative and inclusive campaign ideas tailored to local demographics and community needs.

8. Support ADA compliance efforts by reviewing and improving accessibility of social media and website content.
