The Town of Los Gatos is establishing a pool of qualified Temporary / Seasonal Maintenance Assistant candidates for the Parks and Public Works Department. The pool of qualified candidates will be used for current and future vacancies in the Department. 

The Maintenance Assistant position is a temporary, hourly, at-will, non-benefited position limited to 999 hours of employment in a fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). The work schedule is primarily Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., including holidays, with some weekday work schedule.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

The ideal candidate loves working outdoors in various weather conditions, possesses strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor, is flexible and willing to learn new tasks and skills, and can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in park maintenance and using hand and power tools.

Course Instructors have the opportunity plan curriculum in your area of expertise and share that knowledge with a class size of 5-15 students. We need instructors for all types of programs and classes at the Community Center, with a focus on adult/senior education. We are looking for instructors with skill levels able to teach their craft to others with multiple years of experience. Citrus Heights Water District is seeking a Construction Inspector / Senior Construction Inspector to join our team. The selected candidate will be placed in either classification, depending upon the applicant’s qualifications.

• The Construction Inspector is an entry-level class in the Construction Inspector series. • The Senior Construction Inspector is the journey-level class in the Construction Inspector series and is distinguished from the entry-level class by the assignment of the full range of duties.
