Upon successful completion of POST Academy, the position becomes a full-time probationary Police Officer position.

Under direct supervision, the Police Academy Recruit attends a basic Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified training academy to obtain the basic skills and fitness level necessary for the performance of Police Officer duties.  This position requires a thorough background investigation, psychological assessment, and a medical exam prior to appointment. The Administrative Assistant will perform general clerical work and assist with the Construction Division administrative tasks.

 

This is a supportive role in the construction division with high use of various computer software, research, problem solving and communication skills for a person at an intermediate level. The work performed will support MRCA’s new construction operations, emergency projects, general improvements to parks, and other efforts related to public access, open space conservation, habitat restoration, and urban park development.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, at-will position.

Supervision

This position reports to the Chief of Construction. Assorted tasks may be supervised by other division staff. The position supervises no other staff and generally works independently but in frequent communication with coworkers and supervisors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of
the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from
those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

• Coordinate material orders, delivery and invoices. 
• Maintain division files, including documentation of and authorization for expenses, project progress, contracts, project budgets, contracts, and correspondence. 
• Order materials, equipment, and tools. 
• Coordinate deliver/pick up of materials, equipment and tools. 
• Prepare written materials (reports, graphs, memos, etc.) for the Construction Division. 
• Conduct tailgate safety meetings biweekly with construction team. 
• Research contractors for various trades for estimates of repair and notice inviting bids. 
• Perform related duties as required. 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position, occasionally move about inside the office to access supplies and office machinery, frequently communicate and exchange information, review handwritten, electronic and facsimile documents, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. The employee must occasionally move items weighing up to 20 pounds inside the office. MRCA offices are spread among multiple buildings and floors and may require traveling up/down steps.

Required Hours and Location

Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Occasional overtime work in evenings or weekends upon prior approval by supervisor. The position will work out of the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens but may be required to travel to various other locations as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the essential functions. Education and Experience 

• High School Diploma or GED certificate. A.A. degree preferred.

Wages:

The range of hourly rates for an Administrative Assistant I is $21.20 - 28.41.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for an individual to serve as a Clinical Therapist I/II for the Adult Full-Service Partnership (FSP). The Clinical Therapist I/II will appeal to individuals who are inspired by challenges and opportunities presented in working with an engaged and active community with moderate to severe behavioral health clients. The Clinical Therapist will report to a Clinical Supervisor.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Provides individual, group, and family interventions, rehabilitation, and treatment services including counseling, therapy, case management, and referral and linkage to community services to a variety of clients including high-acuity clients.

• Within the scope of authority, assesses, diagnoses, and treats a variety of clients with mental health disorders; collaborates with clients and creates individualized treatments plans according to client’s needs and circumstances.

• Initiates and conducts individual, group, and family counseling and biopsychosocial therapy sessions utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities; provides case management services in the office and in the field.

• Performs routine and emergency intake evaluations according to Authority procedure;
  completes appropriate forms and documents relating to the intake process; and prepares medical and demographic case history for use in diagnosis.

Definition

Under direction of the City Manager, the Finance Director is charged with the responsibility of establishing and maintaining an accounting and financial system for the City of Live Oak in accordance with various legal requirements and generally accepted government accounting practices.

 

Examples of Duties

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Assume full management responsibility for all Finance Department Services and activities including general accounting functions, investment portfolio,  fiscal reporting, treasury, cash and debt management, utility billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, citations, business licensing, collections, taxes, internal accounting controls, external audit coordination, annual budget preparation, presentation, analysis, and update, any and all other related financial matters as they occur; recommend and administer policies and procedures; administer the day-to-day activities of the City’s insurance programs including health, liability, workers compensation, life, and casualty insurance. Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill two (2) full-time vacancy for the position of Psychiatric Technician I/II (Licensed) within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP) for the day shift. 

Tri-City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve-hour days per workweek and one alternating eight-hour day every other week. Shifts may include weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.

This position will first work a 5/40 schedule for approximately 3-6 months of training before transitioning into the day shift schedule.

Examples of day shifts are included below:

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.
