Salary: Street Operations Manager: $127,429 - $159,287 Annually

After School Program Technician I's work in the formal Suisun City classification of Recreation Specialist II. Starting hourly rate will depend on qualifications. This position works on average 19-29 hours per week.

The Position: Under general supervision, this position involves organizing, leading, and coordinating a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational and educational activities for an Afterschool Program. This role is classified as Temporary Part-Time to support both seasonal and year-round recreational programs.

On April 29, 2025, Suisun City Council approved a new contract between the Suisun City RPM Department and the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD). This agreement expands after school programming to include to grades TK-5 at Dan O. Root Elementary and Crescent Elementary Schools, making the Suisun City RPM Department the sole provider of after school services at both locations. The City of Sebastopol is looking for a respectful, compassionate, empathetic Police Officer Trainee. The selected candidate must be currently enrolled or enrolled at a future date as a self-sponsored recruit in a certified Peace Officer Standards & Training Council (P.O.S.T.) Police Academy. The Police Officer Trainee is a non-sworn, training-level classification requiring no prior law enforcement experience. The incumbent performs a variety of entry-level police support duties in a learning capacity. The selected candidate will assist and observe Police Officers and civilian police personnel.

The successful candidate will attend the Police Academy to obtain a Basic P.O.S.T. Certificate of Completion, and perform related work which may require public contact but not the enforcement of laws. Police Officer Trainees attend a POST certified Police Academy, which follows a standardized curriculum in order to provide them with basic training in various aspects of policing, many of which are prescribed by law and/or statute.

The Police Academy training is designed to provide the candidate the necessary skillsets to prepare them for consideration for promotion to a probationary Police Officer position within the City and begin the Sebastopol Police Department’s Field Training Officer program. Attendance and successful completion of a Police Academy is a legal requirement to be hired as a Police Officer within the State of California and is a requirement for a City of Sebastopol Police Officer Trainee to be considered for promotion to probationary Police Officer with the City of Sebastopol.

The selected self-sponsored academy candidates will receive a conditional offer upon a qualified application and full hourly pay while attending the police academy.

Additional steps (Step F, Step G, and Step H) included in the salary range listed above are available to employees in this job classification after completion of five years of service (Step F), ten years of service (Step G), and 15 years of service (Step H), and one year at the prior step, and good performance evaluation.  Initial salary placement is typically at the entry point of the range unless the candidate has prior Senior Equipment Mechanic experience which may warrant initial placement at a higher step.

The employee in the Senior Equipment Mechanic job classification is required to be fully trained in all fleet shop procedures and have strong knowledge of all apparatuses, vehicles, and equipment in the City fleet. The goal of the Fleet Division is to provide high quality repair and maintenance services to all city-owned vehicles, heavy trucks and equipment.

The Department:

The Santa Clara City Library is a department of the City of Santa Clara. The Santa Clara City Library operates three facilities, a virtual branch through a website, and a bookmobile. The Library provides a collection of virtual and physical books and resources, services and programs, public internet access, adult literacy and English as Second Language classes for the Santa Clara community. Services and programs are free and open to all.

The Position:

The Santa Clara City Library is seeking an enthusiastic and community-oriented Librarian with a strong public service commitment at the Mission Branch Library. This Librarian will provide library service, information, and programming for all ages, and may be responsible of the branch in-lieu of more senior staff. Constant contact and collaboration with patrons of all ages, including those with diverse backgrounds and abilities, are part of the daily duties of this position.  

This is a limited-term appointment of 30-40 hours/week for up to 6 months. As an as-needed employee, this is an "at-will" position and there is no guarantee of hours. Hours are limited to 999 in a fiscal year or 960 hours in a fiscal year for retired CalPERS annuitants.
