THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking to fill vacancies for a Psychiatric Technician I/II for the Adult Outpatient Program/Adult Full-Service Partnership (FSP) Program. The Psychiatric Technician I/II will appeal to individuals who are inspired by challenges and opportunities presented in working with an engaged and active community by providing all manner of adjunctive medication support services. The Psychiatric Technician I/II will report to the Medication Support Team Supervisor and the Crisis & Medication Support Manager and work a 9/80 schedule.

 

Psychiatric Technician I: This is the entry-level classification in the Psychiatric Technician series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform routine medication monitoring, administration, and support, while learning Authority policies and procedures. 

Psychiatric Technician II: This is the journey-level classification in the Psychiatric Technician series. Positions at this level are distinguished from the Psychiatric Technician I by the performance of the full range of duties as assigned, working independently, and exercising judgment and initiative. Positions at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit.

 

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Under the direction of clinical staff, provides medication management services to a caseload of clients in the office and in the field; ensures the proper acquisition and administration of medication.

 

• Provides education and training to clients, their families, and/or staff on the proper care and use of medications, including symptoms of, reactions to, or side effects of, specific medications; informs clients of the impact of abuse and/or misuse of medications.

 

• Conducts home/field visits to evaluate client’s physical environment and behavior such as anxiety, withdrawals, and behavioral health progression/regression.

 

• Takes and records measures of clients’ vital signs, physical condition, and behaviors; assists and observes clients self-dispense medication as prescribed by a psychiatrist and administers scheduled injections.

 

• Conducts medication checks on clients to assess their overall medication management capabilities; takes appropriate action if client poses danger with respect to the use or abuse of medication; observes, evaluates, records, and reports to professional staff changes in client’s condition.

 

• Motivates clients to develop self-reliance in daily living; encourages clients to participate in group and/or individual therapy/program activities.

The City of Dixon is recruiting to fill a full-time position of a Community Service Officer I/II and to establish an Eligibility List for future use. Duties include a wide variety of professional law enforcement functions which do not require peace officer training, including youth services, crime prevention, records management, property and evidence management, information gathering and report writing, code enforcement, office support, operation of jail facilities and parking and traffic control.

Community Service Officer I: This is the entry level class in the Community Service Officer series.

Supervision

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position, occasionally move about inside the office to access supplies and office machinery, frequently communicate and exchange information, review handwritten, electronic and facsimile documents, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. The employee must occasionally move items weighing up to 20 pounds inside the office. MRCA offices are spread among multiple buildings and floors and may require traveling up/down steps.

Required Hours and Location

Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility. Occasional overtime work in evenings or weekends upon prior approval by supervisor. The position will work out of the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens but may occasionally be required to travel to various other locations. Offices at the River Center are spread among multiple buildings and floors. Remote working or a hybrid schedule may be allowed, subject to supervisor approval.

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is looking for a Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) within our Therapeutic Community Garden (TCG) who will facilitate/co-facilitate Therapeutic Community Garden (TCG) groups, community outreach, curriculum development, participate in community events and presentations, garden events and establish relationships and collaborate with outside agencies. A Clinical Therapist I/II provides behavioral health clinical intervention and recovery services to assigned clients and their families; develops treatment plans and performs individual, group, and family psychotherapeutic counseling, routine and emergency assessment, crisis intervention, and related treatment services; manages an assigned caseload of adults, juveniles, and/or children; provides 
consultation to other staff, programs, and agencies related to treatment needs and plans; and

The Clinical Therapist I/II position will report to a Clinical Supervisor I and will work on a multidisciplinary team consisting of other Clinical Therapists and Mental Health Specialists in partnership with the school and families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing engineering work related to the design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of public works projects. The role also includes the dynamic responsibilities of transportation planning, supervisions of contracts/projects, and management for the successful operation of the City’s wet utilities (water, sewer, and drainage). SELECTION PROCEDURE:
