The City of Stockton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team, with a focus on enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, data integration, and IT best practices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and being fluent in the latest technologies, various AI tools, Power BI, Databricks, Azure, Copilot Studio -Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to name a few, with experience in the implementation and optimization of enterprise-grade IT systems. 

The Senior Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with developers, City department SME, and IT leadership to ensure our systems support strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and adapt to evolving technological needs. Experience with large-scale enterprise environments, IT Security, and GIS is desirable.

Incumbents work a 9/80 work schedule Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Fridays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with alternate Fridays off.

Summary:
Under supervision, performs routine semi-skilled to skilled grounds landscaping and maintenance work; performs preventive maintenance of District properties; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains turf and landscaped areas by mowing, edging and weeding; learns and assists with fertilizing, spraying with insecticides and herbicides, aerating and watering.
• Blows, sweeps and washes sidewalks, roadways, parking lots, tennis courts, and other hard­scapes to maintain a clean, safe and orderly condition.
• Assists with planting and removing trees, shrubs and plants; prunes shrubs and trees to shape and encourage growth, using hand and power saws as assigned.
• Assists with the installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Assists with athletic field preparation and the maintenance of play areas and related facilities.
• Operates a variety of power tools, hand tools and motor-driven equipment such as trucks and tractors.
• Loads and unloads equipment, supplies and refuse.
• Maintains daily work records, hazardous materials records and restricted pesticide-use records.
• Attends meetings; participates in safety training.
• Weekend work and rotating schedules may be required.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to park visitors and to other employees.

Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of money and weight measure­ment, volume and distance.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record and current automobile insurance.

The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill several part-time Maintenance Worker positions and to establish an Eligibility List.  In this entry level class in the Public Works Maintenance Worker series, employees are trained and learn to become gradually more independent in, performing unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor in the repair, maintenance, construction, landscaping and cleanup of public works, parks and city facilities and services.  Duties include but are not limited to assist with digging out, breaking up and hauling away damaged sidewalks, gutters, curbs, and asphalt pavements; assist with painting street signs, crossings, crosswalks, curbs and centerlines; assist in repairing or installing landscape irrigation systems; learn to trim, prune, and remove landscaping and shrubbery; learn to operate a variety of trucks and equipment, including dump trucks, vactor trucks, rollers, front-end loaders, backhoe, tractors, air hammers, pavement breakers, lawn mowers, and other turf equipment; performs related duties as assigned.

The City of Patterson’s Finance Department is seeking to fill two (2) part-time Cashier positions and to establish an Eligibility List.  Under direct supervision, the Cashier receives, accounts for, and reconciles cash, checks, and electronic payments. This position is responsible for collecting and maintaining revenue and transaction records.  Incumbents receive, post, issue receipts, reconcile, and balance deposits daily.  Revenues collected include utility billing payments, various municipal services, and recreational program fees.  Must accurately collect,  account for, and safeguard all funds, including tallying and reconciling monies received at the end of each shift. Must be able to generate and reconcile revenue reports.  Operate a multi-line phone system, provide information on department and program areas, and refer inquiries as appropriate. The City of Thousand Oaks Public Works Department is seeking an Assistant Analyst to support the Sustainability Division in advancing the City’s sustainability and energy initiatives. This position plays a key role in managing and analyzing complex data related to energy, water, waste, and electric vehicle infrastructure, while supporting implementation of the Climate and Environmental Action Plan (CEAP).

The Assistant Analyst assists with benchmarking, reporting, GIS mapping, and coordination of external energy programs, as well as contract development and tracking funding opportunities to ensure compliance and maximize program impact. Through public outreach, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement efforts, this role helps advance innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and the City’s long-term sustainability and environmental goals.

SALARY

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Support in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing sustainability data, including energy, water, waste, and EV charging
• Assist with the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for internal and public use

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a high-performing Senior Planner to lead complex development and long-range planning initiatives in one of Southern California’s most desirable communities. We are seeking an innovative, collaborative individual to conduct a variety of planning duties with competence and professionalism. • Four years of responsible wastewater treatment plant operations experience including one year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience. One year of experience with Biological Nutrient Removal system is desirable.          

License or Certificate: 

• Possession of Water Quality Control Operator Grade V certificate.

                                     IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, including Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) processes.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to interpret operational and laboratory data to maintain consistent regulatory compliance.
• Excel in supervising, training, motivating, and evaluating staff while fostering a positive, safety-focused work environment.
• Skilled in coordinating daily plant operations, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Experienced in budget development, chemical procurement, contract management, and resource planning.
• Supports capital improvement projects by collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other City divisions.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Sound judgment, adaptability, and calm decision-making during operational challenges or emergencies.
• Maintains strong working relationships with other divisions, agencies, and the public.
• Stays current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in wastewater treatment.
• Approaches work with a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset, supporting the City’s mission to provide safe, compliant, and high-quality wastewater treatment services.
• Possession of a Water Quality Control Operator Grade V certificate.
