The Waterpark EMT is responsible for responding to emergencies and providing efficient and immediate care to the critically ill/injured at Adventure Waterpark. In addition, The EMT provides security services as needed. The EMT is expected to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

• Functions within the scope of care as defined by state, regional, and local regulatory agencies
• Provide outstanding customer service while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information throughout the Waterpark
• Ability to open/maintain an airway, administer CPR, control hemorrhage, bandage wounds, immobilize extremities, administer oxygen, and other duties within the scope of practice

• Recognize hazardous situations and contain area until help arrives

• Provide public security services during the course of the day and for Admin at closing
• Uphold all rules and regulations of the Waterpark

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Possess E.M.T. certification with experience in the field, and submit verification upon hire

• Ability to establish and maintain productive relations and positive attitude with and toward others
• Possess good organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Program Assistant - Receptionist

Salary Range: $18.52 - $30.68/hour, depending on experience.

DEFINITION

Perform a wide variety of general clerical and/ or operational support duties at the Danville Community Center and/ or Senior Center. Incumbent serves as the facility receptionist, assisting with customer service-related questions and issues, and directing callers and visitors according to established procedures.
 

• This is a part-time temporary, non-benefitted position.
• 0-20 hours per week; not-to-exceed 950 hours per calendar year.

SUPERVISION

Direct supervision is received from the Administrative Assistant with indirect supervision from the Recreation Superintendent. May exercise supervision of part-time personnel and volunteers as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team!  As an Administrative Aide (Part-time, Hourly City Worker), you will interact with a broad range of customers and play an important role in delivering extraordinary customer service to City residents and customers.  The Administrative Aide will serve as a primary contact for City departments and maintain positive and professional customer relationships by responding promptly to inquiries and finding solutions.

THE POSITION:

The Position

Additional experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience: Six (6) years of experience in the professional field required by the assigned special projects. Desirable Experience: Experience in high level complex, high volume recruitments, and compensation analysis. Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, ability to develop strong rapport with hiring managers and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients. This position requires the incumbent to occasionally travel to District facilities, with the flexibility to work early mornings, late afternoons/evenings, and or on the weekends as needed for events at various District locations and in the community. Union experience is desirable but not required.
