Quality Assurance Group: 
The QA Group supports all capital improvement programs for the Division during planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout phases of highway, rail, transit and facilities projects.  As a Senior Transportation Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring delivery of quality products and services for the Division. It is the responsibility of the QA Group to ensure the development of each project’s Contract-specific Quality Management Plan (CQMP) and to conduct audits and surveillances, based on the approved CQMPs, to monitor and assure effective implementation. San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Supervising Mental Health Clinician to lead the Older Adult System of Integrated Services (OASIS) team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of homebound older adults living with serious mental illness. 

 

As a Supervising Mental Health Clinician, you’ll oversee a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, psychiatrists, peer specialists, interns and vocational rehabilitation trainees who deliver field-based, recovery-oriented care throughout San Mateo County. You’ll provide clinical supervision, guide daily operations, coordinate new referrals, and ensure timely documentation and service delivery. 

In this leadership role, you’ll balance program management with direct clinical work, maintaining a small caseload and supporting staff through complex client situations and field-based crises. You’ll also play a vital part in shaping the next generation of providers by orienting resident physicians and mentoring licensed and pre-licensed staff. 

This position is ideal for a collaborative leader with at least two years of post-licensure experience providing direct mental health services, who thrives in dynamic, community-based environments and is passionate about supporting older adults with behavioral health needs and medical fragility.

• Experience supervising and leading multidisciplinary teams (licensed and unlicensed clinicians, psychiatry residents, nurses, peers, vocational trainees) and providing leadership in multicultural, multidisciplinary workforce environments.
• Experience working with diverse cultures, conducting community outreach, and applying trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches to treatment.
• Ability to process new and transfer cases, including entry-to-care and no-wrong-door policies.
• Experience collaborating with a wide range of older adult service partners, including residential care providers, healthcare and insurance entities, advocacy programs, social services, and community-based organizations.
• Experience supporting clients who receive services through programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The Supervising Mental Health Clinician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Leadership, Supervision & Program Management

• Serve as Unit Supervisor, planning, assigning, training, and supervising interdisciplinary clinical staff, interns, and trainees.
• Complete annual evaluations and address personnel concerns.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate all unit activities and ensure program procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in administrative and leadership meetings to develop program plans and review operations.
• Maintain unit records, collect statistical data, and prepare annual program reports.
• Lead clinical meetings, coordinate complex case conferences, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
• Facilitate training programs for staff, resident psychiatrist, interns, and vocational rehabilitation trainees, including collaboration with the Human Services Agency on Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) trainee hiring, training, and supervision.

• Partner with Facilities Utilization Management, Aging and Disability Services, Adult Protective Services, Adult & Senior Programs and other service providers.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings, including with Ron Robinson Senior Care and other assigned committees or workgroups.
• Collaborate with service providers supporting older adults connected with the Golden Gate Regional Center.

Program Operations

• Monitor and consult with contract providers to ensure compliance and resolve service issues.
• Provide both client-centered and program-centered consultation and community education to external agencies.
• Ensure coverage for Officer of the Day assignments.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Licensure/Certification: Possession of a current California license in at least one of the following: Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapy.
 
Education and Experience:  Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is a Master's degree in a mental health specialty, such as social work, nursing, or clinical counseling and two years of professional post-graduate experience in a mental health setting.

DEFINITION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND TRAINING GUIDELINES

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. A typical way would be:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Technical training and/or a degree in building inspection technology, civil engineering, or a related field is desirable.

Experience: Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience as an inspector of construction for public works and engineering projects or a Building Inspector with a Municipal Building Department performing combination inspections.

Licenses: Must possess and maintain a valid Class C California Driver’s License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles and a satisfactory driving record. Certifications such as Combination Inspector or related are preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical agility adequate to inspect construction sites. Requires physical flexibility and dexterity, including the ability to continually stand, bend, stoop, reach, and crouch. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, hear voices, and operate telephones. The City of San Bruno Public Library is currently recruiting for a part-time, temporary Library Assistant—Homework Center Supervisor. Under the direction of the Library Services Manager, the Library Assistant—Homework Center Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the Library's after-school Homework Center, including classroom management, homework help, supervising and training volunteers, collaborating with library staff, and maintaining
accurate records of homework center attendance. The incumbent will be responsible for
maintaining a welcoming place for students to do their homework effectively within the larger context of the library, and for planning STEAM weekly activities and training/supervising students in the use of the 3-D printer. The homework center is a free, drop-in, after-school program for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

* This is a part-time/temporary/seasonal position with the City of San Bruno.  As such, employees agree to serve in an at-will capacity and understand that service with the City may be terminated at any time.  This position works a maximum of 17 hours per week and does not provide any benefits, except for paid sick leave. In accordance with the Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act of 2014, all temporary, part-time, and seasonal employees, who on or after July 1, 2015, work in California for 30 or more days within a year from the commencement of employment are entitled to paid sick leave for prescribed purposes.  Employees will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and are entitled to use accrued sick days beginning on the 90th day of employment.  Employees may use up to 40 hours (or 5 days) of accrued sick leave in each year of employment.

The City of Sunnyvale is seeking a Human Services Manager to join the Housing Division of the Community Development Department. The Housing Division is a passionate and hardworking group of professionals dedicated to addressing the housing and human service needs of the community. We work collaboratively to achieve our housing goals and foster an innovative and team focused work environment. The Human Services Manager will oversee a team of housing staff who focus on human services and unhoused services and programs within the division.

Under general direction of the Housing Officer, the Human Services Manager will oversee coordination and implementation of new homeless service programs as well as manage existing funding partnerships which support housed and unhoused residents of Sunnyvale. The selected candidate will foster and maintain strategic partnerships with public and private entities to identify opportunities and deliver measurable results. The Human Services Manager will coordinate outreach and engagement strategies, attend public hearings as needed, and may serve as staff liaison between the City and partners countywide. 

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, social sciences, communications, planning, or related field; AND

Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in homeless services, social work, human services, affordable housing, social justice, or related field, including one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.

The City of Menlo Park is seeking a Public Works Supervisor - Facilities in the Maintenance Division of the Public Works department. The Maintenance Division provides many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of everyone who lives, works, visits and commutes within the City. The Maintenance Division provides support to all City departments and provides service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to address emergencies during non-working hours. The Maintenance Division is located in the City's Corporation Yard.

Under general direction, the Public Works Supervisor - Facilities plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of facilities maintenance staff within the Public Works Facilities Maintenance Division; supervises, plans, coordinates, and reviews maintenance, repair, installation, alteration, and construction activities of City buildings and facilities; improves, maintains, remodels, and renovates City buildings, facilities, and fixtures, including carpentry, plumbing, lighting, and electrical trades areas; and provides responsible technical assistance to the Assistant Public Works Director - Maintenance. Positions at this level use considerable independence, initiative, and discretion within established guidelines. This class is distinguished from the Assistant Public Works Director - Maintenance in that the latter has management responsibility for all public works maintenance services and operations of the City.
