Under general supervision, a Reserve Police Officer performs a variety of law enforcement and modern crime prevention work; controls traffic flow; patrols an assigned area for the prevention of crime and enforcement of federal, state and local laws and regulations, and arrests violators as necessary; performs investigative work; and other related law enforcement work as required.
Police Officer Trainee - $5,705 / Month
Academy Graduate & Lateral - $6,866 to $9,310 / Month
Compensation up to $10,706 with incentives
Police Officers work 12-hour shifts as part of a Team concept. Officers can serve in patrol, traffic, investigations, and K-9 assignments. Other opportunities include Regional SWAT, Mobile Field Force, 10851 Task Force, CSI, Regional Major Accident Investigation and Enforcement Team, FTO, and Firearms and Force Options Teams.
