The City of Livermore, with a population of 91,000+ residents, is located in Alameda County, approximately forty miles east of San Francisco, and adjacent to the San Joaquin Valley. Livermore’s heritage includes historic vineyards and a tradition of ranching and agriculture. Today, our City continues to expand its wine-making industry and celebrate our annual rodeo. Livermore is home to two world-renowned national laboratories, nineteen wineries, a general aviation airport, and three golf courses.
Livermore’s local and regional economy is strong and diverse.
