WASTWATER TREATMENT & COLLECTIONS OPERATOR in TRAINING (OIT)
Special Requirements:
a.) The incumbent in this position is required to participate in state approved and recognized courses and on-the-job training related to wastewater treatment in order to obtain the knowledge necessary to qualify for and pass the written examination for Class I Operator Certification, within fifteen (15) months from time of appointment.
b.) Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California Driver’s License by time of appointment.
c.) Ability to work swing shifts, weekends and holidays.
d.) Ability to report to the worksite within forty (40) minutes after receiving notification of being called back.
WASTWATER TREATMENT & COLLECTIONS OPERATOR I
Special Requirements:
a.) Possession of a State Water Resources Control Board Class I Wastewater License.
b.) Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California Driver’s License by time of appointment.
c.) Ability to work swing shifts, weekends and holidays.
d.) Must report to the worksite within forty (40) minutes after receiving notification of being called back.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT & COLLECTIONS OPERATOR II
Special Requirements:
a.) Possession of a State Water Resources Control Board Class II Wastewater License.
Or 5 + years' experience as a Class I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
b.) Will be required to get a Class II certification
c.) Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California Driver's License by time of appointment.
d.) Ability to work swing shifts, weekends and holidays.
e.) Ability to report to the worksite within forty (40) minutes after receiving notification of being called back.

Special Requirements:
