Description
The City of Patterson is currently seeking to fill one (1) vacancy for a part-time Facility Custodian with the Public Works Department and to establish an Eligibility List.
Duties include, but are not limited to: under general supervision, performs routine custodial and cleaning duties in municipal buildings and adjacent grounds; sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors; sweeps and vacuums rugs; empties, cleans and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash; moves office furniture and equipment and may make minor repairs; maintains equipment and materials in proper condition; performs related work as assigned.
This is a part-time position with hours up to 19 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends with varying shifts and schedules.

The ideal candidate will build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other City employees, and the public using principles of good customer service; is able to follow written and oral instructions; observes safe working practices; has knowledge of proper cleaning methods.
