POSITION DETAILS:
Salary Range: $26.51/hour with excellent benefits
Promotion Opportunity: Police Dispatcher at $29.96/hour with excellent benefits
Growth Potential: Up to $79,539/year ($38.24/hour)
Cost of Living Adjustment: 3% increase effective July 13, 2026
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, rotating every four months
Requirements: Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in communications or a related field is desirable.
Experience: Some emergency or non-emergency dispatch experience is desirable.

- Must be 18 years of age as of the date of hire
- United States citizen or meet citizenship requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good moral character with no felony convictions
