POSITION DETAILS:
- Salary Rate: $16.90 hourly
- Temporary, Part-Time Position
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (10 hours/week average)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education and experience, which would provide the necessary knowledge and abilities, along with the following special requirements:
Education/Training:
- Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Experience:
- Some experience working with children is desirable.
License or Certificate:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, appropriate, valid first aid and C.P.R. Certificates.
- Must possess good hearing ability across a frequency range from 500 Hz to 3,000 Hz. Hearing levels meeting these requirements in the better ear, either with or without a hearing aid, will be acceptable. If an individual meets the criteria by using a hearing aid, then he/she must wear that hearing aid and have a spare power source for the hearing aid.
- Must possess corrected vision of20/40 minimum, with no color blindness.
- A medical examination may be required before appointment and as a condition of continuing employment with the City.
