Provide the highest level of care, treatment, and transportation for all patients in an expedient and safe manner as specified by City of Sanger Fire Department and Central California Emergency Medical Services policy, procedures, processes, and protocols. This is part-time employment with no benefits. Incumbent must meet the minimum training and experience qualifications required.

DEFINITION: The Cadet Program is designed to introduce recent high school graduates (ages 18 to 24) to a law enforcement career and to prepare them for entry into the Police Academy. This is a part-time/temporary position (maximum of 999 hours per fiscal year), and no benefits are provided. The following is a description of the job responsibilities and conditions of employment for this position.
This is a Level I Peace Officer designation that performs a wide variety of duties in the enforcement of law and order; and to carry out special assignments in the protection of life and property within the City of Ceres. Receives general supervision from a police sergeant or other designated authority.
