This is a NEW program within the Marysville Fire Department. The Marysville Fire Department is hiring continuously for twelve (12) Firefighter Reserves. These positions will be funded for four (4) years through the SAFER Grant.
For each 24 hour shift worked, you will receive $60 for food and mileage, that will be paid monthly in accordance with the City of Marysville's established pay schedule.
The City of Roseville will begin accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Fire Engineer on March 2, 2020. This is an open recruitment.
Successful candidates must possess the following special licenses and certificates as defined in the job specification*:

$27.38-$33.27 Per Hour
POST Certificate or Degree: 5% - Intermediate or BA or BS, 10% - Advanced or MA or MS, 15% -Supervisory or Ph.D.
5% - Holiday Pay
$0.40 per hour – Uniform Allowance
$0.50 per hour – Bi-Lingual Pay
Under direction of the Deputy City Manager, the Recycling and Solid Waste Program Manager plans, organizes, directs and participates in the administration of multiple integrated solid waste management contracts and programs within the City Manager’s Office; represents the City and provides staff support for a variety of intergovernmental committees, subcommittees and authorities.

Under the general direction of the Fire Chief or Shift Captain, a Resident Support Volunteer is a support role position that may perform administrative office functions and provide support for services administered by the department. They will be active members within the Volunteer Firefighters Association and provide support to the activities and fundraising events within the community.
