This includes customer service, benefits education, eligibility determination, coordination with vendors and healthcare providers, and analysis and reporting of benefits data.

THE CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: EMPLOYEE BENEFITS AND WELLNESS

There are currently two vacancies within the Employee Benefits and Wellness Division, one is a regular, classified position and the other is a limited term position. Limited term positions are full-time fully benefited, temporary positions. Limited term employees receive medical and dental benefits, like regular employees, and a defined contribution retirement plan (401-A).  This current limited term position is funded for up to one year. 

The Employee Benefits and Wellness division administers comprehensive benefits programs and provides direct support to County employees and retirees.

Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Technician:

• Provide frontline customer service via phone, email, and in-person support regarding employee benefits
• Conduct benefits education sessions, trainings, and presentations
• Interpret and explain benefits programs, eligibility, and policies
• Reconcile benefits reports and assist with audits
• Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and other tools
• Analyze and communicate complex benefits data in a clear and concise manner
• Support events such as the annual Benefits Fair

Education and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

• Three years of increasingly responsible administrative support work
• At least two years of human resources-related experience

Knowledge of:

• Principles and practices of human resource/personnel administration and management
• Federal, State, and local legislation involving human resource/personnel functions
• Organization, procedures, and operating details of the County or similar public agencies
• Correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
• Modern office methods, procedures, and equipment, including computer systems and HR-related programs and applications

Skill/Ability to:

We are currently looking for a Clinical Therapist I or II to work on our MHSSA Grant Team within Tri-City's Child & Family Clinic. A Clinical Therapist I/II provides behavioral health clinical intervention and recovery services to assigned clients and their families; develops treatment plans and performs individual, group, and family psychotherapeutic counseling, routine and emergency assessment, crisis intervention, and related treatment services; manages an assigned caseload of adults, juveniles, and/or children; provides consultation to other staff, programs, and agencies related to treatment needs and plans; and

The Clinical Therapist I/II position will report to a Clinical Supervisor II and will work on a multidisciplinary team consisting of other Clinical Therapists and Behavioral Health Specialists in partnership with the school and families.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

•  Provides individual, group, and family interventions, rehabilitation, and treatment services including counseling, therapy, case management, and referral and linkage to community services to a variety of clients including high acuity clients. 

•  Within scope of authority, assesses, diagnoses, and treats a variety of clients with mental health disorders; collaborates with clients and creates individualized treatments plans according to client’s needs and circumstances.

•  Works with clients to address stressors and barriers to treatment and/or social functioning; identifies and focuses on client strengths and personal resources to effectively engage and treat client. 

•  Performs crisis intervention for clients and walk-in non-clients; evaluates individuals to identify level of stable behavior; provides support and assistance in problem resolution; coordinates or arranges for the provision of appropriate care services; and places holds as necessary within scope of authority.

The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Senior Fiscal Analyst in the State Budget unit of the Budget Services Sacramento office.

The Senior Fiscal Analyst provides advanced, complex, and specialized analytical and technical budget support to the Judicial Council Facilities Services Capital Outlay program. This position provides fiscal oversight for capital outlay projects and manages the ongoing project close-out activities. Fiscal oversight responsibilities include analyzing and preparing statewide budget reports for management, controlling capital outlay appropriations, reviewing and coding requisitions, preparing and reviewing Capital Outlay budget change proposals (COBCPs), reviewing the updated five-year capital outlay plan, and managing the bond sale process. The position conducts monthly fiscal forecasting for each project by appropriation, line item, and category of expense, that are completed three times a year for every project. The position is also responsible for ensuring project compliance with appropriation availability periods, recommends reappropriations when needed, forecasts cash flow to ensure cash flow loans remain sufficient and advises Facilities Services staff on project scope, cost, and budget changes during the bi-monthly budget meetings with Facilities Services management.

This position prepares and review materials required by the State Public Works Board and the Department of Finance for the ongoing phases of Capital Outlay projects, including memos, fiscal displays, and agenda items. These package submissions are done approximately eight times annually. The role also updates and escalates project costs for Executive staff to support accurate advocacy for project funding. The Administrative Services Department is a combination of Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management and Information Technology. ABOUT THE POSITION

Definition:  Under direction of management, preforms a variety of administrative, secretarial, and office support duties of considerable complexity. Provides administrative support to management and departmental staff. Composes and prepares correspondence using considerable judgement in content and style; performs other related duties as required.

The Department

The Human Services Department (HSD) delivers and supports services by forging long-term community partnerships, engaging with and building the capacity of the community to do its own problem-solving, and leveraging financial and volunteer resources.

The Position

The Quality Assurance Senior Program Coordinator oversees quality assurance activities of the behavioral health programs (Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment) for the Youth and Family Services Division and other divisions providing behavioral health services. The incumbent will perform routine audits of clinical client records, tabulation and reporting of audit results to individual programs, to ensure the programs comply with State Medi-Cal standards. This position is a core member driving the Human Services Department’s quality assurance and improvement processes in partnership with the department’s clinical and billing management team.

Examples of Job Duties

• Oversee clinical quality improvement processes and behavioral health record review.
• Develop internal audit processes to ensure compliance with state mental health and drug Medi-Cal documentation and timeliness requirements are met.
• Represent department at all county-based QA meetings/events and state conferences for larger system changes such as California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services.
• Develop working relationships with county QA to provide continual improvements to City of Fremont work-flow and compliance issues.
• Review, gather and synthesize county policies, contract and documentation requirements to ensure compliance including Site Certification requirements.
• Develop training manuals/materials and evaluation processes to align with employee performance standards.
• May be required to supervise clinical program staff.

Summary
Under general supervision, performs technical paraprofessional accounting duties including payroll processing and accounts receivables and payables for Conejo Recreation & Park District (CRPD) and Mountain Recreation & Conservation Authority (MRCA); prepares accounting records and journal entries as necessary; generates reports and reconciles data; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processes routine and special check runs; validates accuracy of coding and payments and prepares checks for mailing or distribution.
• Prepares direct deposit, warrants and wire transfer information for approval and transmittal to the bank before established deadlines; prepares bank deposits.
• Maintains independent contractor and vendor records and databases including contracts, payment and ACH information.
• Assists with generating financial reports, spreadsheets and records; maintains purchase order file and records expenses; scans and files data and documents in accordance with District and MRCA records management policies and procedures.
• Gathers statement backup and reconciles Cal-Card statements; processes approved payments.
• Researches and answers District and MRCA employee and department inquiries regarding payroll, reimbursements and general status inquiries.  

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides backup to divisional administrative staff.
• Assists in research and preparation of data for payroll and financial audits and special reports requested by auditors, MRCA administrators, and other public agencies.
• May be required to drive District or personal vehicle.
• Participates during disasters or when emergency response is needed.
• Non-exempt employees may be required to work overtime
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret accounting documents, procedure manuals and govern­mental regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate business needs.  

Math Ability: Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commis­sions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting and finance.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to analyze and reconcile fiscal recording, banking and payroll records. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written or oral form.

Certificates and Licenses:

Examination:  Candidate selection will be based on competitive examinations.  Test content will be related to the job.  A driver license will be requested for identification and admission to the testing area.  If there is more than one part to an examination, candidates must pass each part.  Candidates with passing scores will be asked to compete in successive parts of the examination.

• Written Test/Practical Exercise:  A written test and a practical exercise may be used, in addition to the appraisal interview.
• Appraisal Interview:  A job-related appraisal interview will be conducted to evaluate and compare participating candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to those factors which job analysis has determined to be essential for successful performance of the job.
• After the Appraisal Interview, the top candidates will be invited to a staff interview.

ABOUT THE POSITION: This position will receive immediate direction from the Management Analyst II. They provide a variety of clerical support and perform a wide range of customer service-related tasks in a fast paced, high touch environment. This position requires the ability to multi-task and respond to multiple requests from customers with professionalism and courtesy.

SCHEDULE: Staff will have the schedule flexibility to work weekday, weekend, early morning and evening shifts.  Staff may be asked to cover additional, unscheduled shifts due to absences by other Office Assistants.

• Performs a variety of clerical support and receptionist duties; data input, answer phones, directs calls, takes messages, greets public and provides general information for all Recreation department classes, programs, policies, and events.
• Monitors all admittance to the facility, checks required credentials and charges appropriate fees.
• Calculates fees, charges and operate, balance cash register during and at end of shift.
• Monitor guests' activities in the main lobby area and enforce all rules, regulations, and safety principles.
• Assists in opening and closing procedures for the Community Center and the Aquatics & Fitness Center.

• Has the ability to speak English clearly and understandably.

ABOUT THE POSITION
