The Custodian, Lead position is located in the Facilities Division at the General Services Agency. This position performs a variety of custodial / janitorial duties in assigned buildings in the County and provides lead direction over a crew of custodians. This is the advanced journey level classification in the Custodian series. It differs from that of Custodian in that the Lead Custodian provides direction to a crew of workers in addition to performing typical custodian assignments. This position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for multiple Town facilities by completing various tasks, including mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, and emptying trash cans or recycling bins.
- This is a part-time temporary, non-benefitted position.
- Flexible schedule up to 29 hours per week, which may include weekend work; not-to-exceed 950 hours per calendar year.

The City of Patterson is currently recruiting to fill one (1) vacancy for a part-time Facility Custodian with the Recreation & Community Services Department and to establish an Eligibility List.
Duties include, but are not limited to: under general supervision, performs routine custodial and cleaning duties in municipal buildings and adjacent grounds; performs related work as assigned.
Must be available to work nights and weekends with varying shifts and schedules.

Instruct children and adults (primarily 5-12 years of age) in beginning to intermediate sports camps or programs, such as Badminton, Basketball, Baseball, Cricket, Football, Softball, Soccer, Tennis, etc. Class content should provide basic and/or more advanced game mechanics, strategies, and the rules of sports, depending on the student level of skill. Class must emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship and team play. The goal is to have fun and develop a skill.
A Program Specialist will plan, prepare and instruct recreation activities. Activities may include art, cooking, dance, pre-school program and other program areas. Programs are designed for children ages 4-17 (primarily 5-12) years of age.
Art programs may include drawing, painting, pastels, ceramics, crafts, sculpture, photography, weaving, printing, calligraphy, quilting, anime/magna, cartooning, clowning, and theater.
Cooking programs may include instruction on safety, using proper equipment and supplies and creativity.
