Incumbents will work a flexible schedule, with increased scheduling during peak workload periods, but less than 1,000 hours during the assignment through the fiscal year starting July 1st and ending June 30th.

Recreation Leader I / ll - Teen Centers

If so, consider becoming a Recreation Leader for the City of San Ramon’s Teen Centers. The City’s Teen Centers provide structured recreational activities and educational opportunities for up to 55 middle school students during the school year.
What does a Recreation Leader do?
The Coordinator is responsible for providing the highest quality of guest service to all visitors. The Coordinator will be responsible for administrative duties and assist at various City facilities, as assigned. In addition, the Coordinator will monitor facility rentals and support the special events. This is potentially a year around part time position.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (This is a general description of duties and is not all-inclusive)
A Program Specialist will plan, prepare and instruct recreation activities. Activities may include art, cooking, dance, pre-school program and other program areas. Programs are designed for children ages 4–17 (primarily 5-12) years of age.
Art programs may include drawing, painting, pastels, ceramics, crafts, sculpture, photography, weaving, printing, calligraphy, quilting, anime/magna, cartooning, clowning, and theater.
