                                     POSITION DETAILS:

• Salary Range: $26.51/hour with excellent benefits

• Promotion Opportunity: Police Dispatcher at $29.96/hour with excellent benefits

• Growth Potential: Up to $79,539/year ($38.24/hour)

• Cost of Living Adjustment: 3% increase effective July 13, 2026

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, rotating every four months

• Requirements: Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

 

                         MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in communications or a related field is desirable.

Experience: Some emergency or non-emergency dispatch experience is desirable.

• Must be 18 years of age as of the date of hire
• United States citizen or meet citizenship requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Good moral character with no felony convictions

The Digital Media Manager is the lead writer and content strategist for the Office of Supervisor Paloma Aguirre. This position is responsible for developing and executing written content for social media, newsletters, speeches, digital platforms, press releases, and official statements. The Digital Media Manager ensures consistent voice, tone, and message alignment across all platforms and works closely with the Media Content Producer to deliver cohesive digital storytelling. The City of Simi Valley is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SCADA Systems Analyst to join our Sanitation and Waterworks Divisions. This critical role will coordinate and manage SCADA systems that support essential public utility operations, including waterworks, sanitation, and related infrastructure services. The successful candidate will leverage technology to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure reliable service delivery to our community. With responsibility for system design, configuration, maintenance, and data analysis, the SCADA Systems Analyst will play a key role in advancing the Division’s mission of providing safe, sustainable, and high-quality utility services.

• Salary range: $113,865.64 - $146,464.03 annually with Excellent Benefits

                          MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education/Training:

• Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field.

Experience:

The City is currently accepting applications to fill several part-time, hourly positions to work in the theatres at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center.  Under the direction of the Technical Supervisors and the theatre department leads, the Stagehands assist with a variety of tasks related to theatre operations and maintenance.  The schedule will involve working up to 19 hours per week, depending on assignment.  The schedule includes working nights, weekends, and holidays.  On occasion, the position may involve working additional hours in a week.
