Part-Time position: variable hours; evenings and weekends

Pay Rate: starting at $18.13 an hour

Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of custodial tasks and provides oversight of rental groups, in accordance with District policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patrons and prospective participants on the phone and in-person
• Assist permit groups with set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other equipment
• Promptly open and unlock facilities or close and secure facilities as scheduled
• Complete facility condition forms following permit group use and incident reports as needed
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions
• Turn athletic field lights off and on for sports groups
• Sell and scan admission tickets special events and/or theater performances

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweep floors, vacuum carpets, and dust or polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Wash windows, clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and sanitize high touch areas often

Our five all-day summer camps run from June 15 to August 14, with staff training beginning June 8. The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Customer Service Representative to join our Public Services Division within the Finance Department. The Combination Building Inspector I/II plays a crucial role in protecting public health, safety, and welfare by reviewing construction projects to ensure compliance with minimum standards. The City is seeking a strategic and collaborative IT Manager to join the newly established IT Department! In this key leadership role, you will oversee the City’s infrastructure and operations division, including cybersecurity, information systems, data center, network infrastructure, and help desk, while guiding technology strategy that supports operations across all departments.

DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a collaborative, service-oriented individual to conduct a variety of code compliance duties with competence and professionalism. The Code Compliance Officer I/II will be responsible for conducting inspections and investigations pertaining to violations of the municipal code provisions in zoning ordinances, sanitary regulations, business license regulations, building standards and nuisance abatement ordinances.  The Code Compliance Officer I/II must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be self-directed, exercise discretion, and excellent judgment.
