                           MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college level course work in water science, chemistry, environmental science or a related field.

Experience:

• Four years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience including one year of administrative or lead supervisory responsibility.

License or Certificates:

• Possession of an appropriate, valid State of California Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Operator certificate, and the ability to obtain a Grade V Wastewater Treatment Operator certificate within one year of hire.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid CPR Certificate.

The Police Communications Dispatcher receives and processes routine and emergency calls. The incumbent will dispatch police and enter, retrieve, and use data from various automated law enforcement information systems. The successful candidate will coordinate with and transfer calls to other emergency service providers as appropriate. The individual will perform a variety of clerical and technical duties in support of the department’s operations. • Background Investigation Top candidates will undergo a comprehensive background investigation, which includes:
