This position will plan, organize, monitor and supervise the work of maintenance personnel assigned to Parks and Building Maintenance; the maintenance and repair of City-owned vehicles and equipment and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to Parks & Building Maintenance.

The City of Lincoln is hiring for a seasonal Maintenance Worker II within the Parks and Facilities Division of the Public Works Department.
The Department is looking for an individual with at least three years of responsible experience performing municipal parks maintenance. Course work and training in maintenance, agronomy, horticulture, forestry, natural resource management, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, janitorial or related field is highly desirable. A successful candidate will have the ability to obtain a Class B Driver’s License within one year of employment.
