Tri-City Mental Health Authority is looking for to fill one (1) vacancy for the Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) for the Adult Full Service Partnership (FSP) Department. The BHS will provide a variety of rehabilitative support services to clients to facilitate behavior modification, skill building, and self-care and safety in individual and/or group settings. 

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Develops, monitors, and evaluates client rehabilitative and case management goals and increases/decreases in targeted behavior according to client needs; monitors goal progress/regression.
   
• Provides individual, group, family, and collateral rehabilitative support services to facilitate behavior modification including skill building, needs assessment, self-care/safety, and coping strategies and techniques; may provide case management services in the office and in the field.

• Provides advocacy for clients to ensure inclusion in all aspects of the community including socialization, employment, education, and housing to meet client needs.

Under immediate supervision, incumbents learn how to apply their professional training to a work production environment and how to perform simple planning review activities. This class is flexibly staffed with Planner II, and incumbents may advance to the higher level after gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency in the work.

Planner II ($100,900.80 - $126,131.20 Annually) is the full-experienced journey level in the Planner series. Under general supervision, incumbents perform a full range of planner activities and exercise substantial independence and initiative in carrying out their assignments. This class is flexibly staffed with Planner III, and incumbents may advance to the higher level after gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency in the work.

Planner III ($115,544.00 - $144,372.80 Annually) is the advanced journey level in the Planner Series. Under direction, incumbents carry out the major and more complex land use projects in all sections of the Division. Incumbents provide direction to other professional staff on projects and operate with independence within the parameters of legislative and divisional policy.

Examples Of Duties

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Gather, compile, and analyze statistical data, and study trends in land use, demographics, and environmental impacts.
• Conduct studies, compile data and information, and prepare reports on land use, population, environmental impacts, transportation, ordinance amendments, and other planning subjects.
• Make field surveys and investigate related planning and zoning projects and inquiries.
• Maintain automated historical records.
• Prepare reports on data collected to support recommendations on zoning, transportation, and other land-use projects.
• Prepare recommendations and assist in presentations to the Planning Commission, Board of Supervisors, and public agencies.
• Prepare or assist in revising maps, charts, graphs, and other visual aids, including departmental brochures and publications on land use and policies.

The City of Sunnyvale is currently recruiting for a Field Technician to join the Environmental Services Department team! The Environmental Services Department provides comprehensive and innovative utility services for Sunnyvale's residents, businesses and facilitates initiatives to achieve the City's sustainability objectives. The Department brings together technical, operational, and administrative professional disciplines to form its dedicated and dynamic team.

City of Sunnyvale Field Technicians work in the field when assigned to the Compliance Inspection group in the Regulatory Programs Division. Field Technicians work under the supervision of the Senior Environmental Compliance Inspector primarily in the field collecting samples from industries, restaurants and the sanitary sewer collection system in order to determine compliance with local and federal discharge limits. The Field Technicians in Compliance Inspection work closely with the Environmental Compliance Inspectors to regulate dischargers. Field technicians also perform sampling at designated drinking water locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

The minimum qualifications for education and experience can be met in the following way:

An Associate degree or 60 semester units or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university in environmental science, including courses in chemistry, biology or other related science, AND

Two years of experience performing field technician and/or laboratory duties.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science, including courses in chemistry, biology or other related science may be substituted for one year of experience.

Licenses/Certificates

Possession and continued maintenance of a valid class C California driver's license and a safe driving record.

The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Manager in Budget Services.

This position will provide direct management oversight for the Trial Court Budget Management section within the Budget Services office, which includes the Court Budget unit (CBU) and the Funds and Revenues unit (FRU). The CBU is responsible for administering allocations and reimbursements of approximately $3 billion annually to the 58 trial courts, and provides budgetary support for various trial court programs. The FRU carries out advanced budgetary, technical, and analytical responsibilities related to the administration of judicial branch funds, including backfill for the Ability to Pay program and oversight of statewide collections.

This position directs Judicial Council staff support for the Trial Court Budget Advisory Committee and its subcommittees, managing administrative functions within the Judicial Council committee process to ensure that funding included in the budget is allocated to the trial courts in a timely and proper manner.

This position also represents the Budget Services office and the Judicial Council in interactions with a wide range of partners and stakeholders, including the Judicial Council’s Executive Office and senior management, trial court leadership, county government departments, and state agencies such as the Department of Finance, the State Controller’s Office, and the Legislature. Responsibilities

Correctional Health Services (CHS) therapists provide clinical mental health services utilizing Trauma Informed Care to inmates with mental illness, serious mental illness, or substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders of mental illness, serious mental illness, and chemical dependency. They also provide case management services and discharge planning by interviewing inmate patients to assess mental health needs and formulate treatment plans. They function as a team member in a multi-disciplinary work setting where they collaborate with Sheriff's Office staff to manage inmate patients' daily activities. The Ideal Candidate will possess

• A current license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist.

ABOUT THE POSITION
