POSITION DETAILS:
- Salary Range: $6,801.13 - $8,711.44 with Excellent Benefits
- 3% Cost of Living Adjustment increase effective 7/3/26
- Regular, Full-Time position
- 9/80 work schedule with alternating Friday off
Under the direction of the City Manager, performs a wide variety of responsible, confidential, and complex administrative, technical, and secretarial duties for those in the City Manager’s Office; acts as a liaison with City departments, staff, outside agencies, and the public; and supports the efficient operation of the City Manager’s office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Administrative support to the City Manager and Executive staff;
- Handle sensitive and privileged material;
- Maintain the confidentiality of such material;
- Interact with the public, outside agencies, and City staff at all levels and on a variety of issues;
- Coordinate internal and external meetings as necessary;
- Coordinate travel to conferences and meetings;
- Prepare correspondence and/or presentations for meetings and various events;
- Coordinate purchase orders and requisitions, and manage timekeeping through the City’s Enterprise System;
- Serve as a member of the website maintenance and posting team; and
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and City policies regarding information security.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized secretarial training. College-level coursework in business administration, computer science, or a related field is desirable.
Experience:
- Four years of increasingly responsible administrative and secretarial experience. Previous experience supporting C-level Executives preferred.
