ABOUT THE POSITION The City of Lincoln is seeking qualified Part-time Reserve Police Officers - Level I, II, and III trained Police Officers. Successful candidates may be assigned to patrol duties in accordance with POST requirements. Upon completion of the Lincoln Police Department Police Training Officer Program, Reserve Officers will be assigned law enforcement duties on as needed basis. The types of duties assigned will be dependent upon their level of training and experience. This position receives no compensation nor does it include benefits.

The Redwood City Police Department is currently accepting applications for Per-Diem COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHERS. Using a sophisticated Computer Aided Dispatch terminal, the Communications Dispatcher receives emergency calls from within the public requesting police, fire, medical, or other emergency service; determine priority, and dispatch police, fire, ambulance, or other emergency units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures.
Under general supervision, a Reserve Police Officer performs a variety of law enforcement and modern crime prevention work; controls traffic flow; patrols an assigned area for the prevention of crime and enforcement of federal, state and local laws and regulations, and arrests violators as necessary; performs investigative work; and other related law enforcement work as required.

Qualification:
Must be at least 15 years old and have the ability to obtain a work permit, if under the age of 18. Applicants must have completed and passed the Lifeguard Training class that includes CPR, FPR, and AED by June 1, 2022. WSI (water safety instructor) is highly recommended.
