The City is currently accepting applications to fill several part-time, hourly positions to work in the theatres at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center.  Under the direction of the Technical Supervisors and the theatre department leads, the Stagehands assist with a variety of tasks related to theatre operations and maintenance.  The schedule will involve working up to 19 hours per week, depending on assignment.  The schedule includes working nights, weekends, and holidays.  On occasion, the position may involve working additional hours in a week.

 

Primary responsibilities:  

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of theatre sound, lighting, and/or rigging systems during rehearsals, performances, concerts, and meetings
• Assist in loading, unloading, fabrication, installation, and operation of lighting, sound, wardrobe and rigging systems and manipulation of props in theatrical settings
• Perform heavy manual labor

DESCRIPTION  

The City of Thousand Oaks is excited to announce the creation of a new Engineering Division Manager position within the Public Works Department. This newly established role, has been created to further strengthen our commitment to infrastructure excellence and service. Unlike similar roles in the City, this position has not been previously filled and offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead a critical division focused on engineering and construction of the City’s critical infrastructure.
